The apocalypse happened and it was named- The system’s advent

Description

The world either ended or it began when the system came online. People can now be immortal and the laws of reality are intertwined with what the people of earth know as RPG game systems. All of this and yet it is only the begining. What is in store for humanity when everything they thought was just smoke and mirrors turns out to be as real as they are and far more deadly.

One man went back in time because of an event that shouldn't be possible to a place he had forgotten. For him it was a chance at redemption for a life he is ashamed of. It was a chance to make things right with the people he couldn't face before it was too late to say sorry. A changed man will attempt to defy logic that he doesn't even realize exists. He tried to be the dashing rogue and failed, he tried for the overbearing shield bearer and was worse than useless, he tried to be the rightous paladin and not even the dark gods would accept him. The only path left was the 'weakest' of them all.

Ok so alot of you probably reading this are people who have read my previous works and I can only say 'thank you for your incredible patience' so much before it gets awkward but for those you who don't know this is my third story and no I haven't dropped the other two it's just that tragedy struck when I was writing them and I haven't been able to get my motivation for them back yet so I'm trying this as essentially a jump start to get back into the fight so to speak. I'm really hopefull that I can pull this story off the way I want it to be but only time will tell so here's to hoping, now let's get this show started.

So first is a warning if anyone has an issue with the mc being op then this series is not for you. On the other hand if you have no issue's with an op mc then this is a pretty cool series for you. While the series starts out with the mc pretty much curb stomping everything he comes across once you get to chapter 10 you start getting a idea that first there is more out there than just earth. Not only do you get an idea that there is more out there than just lil ol earth but that their children are born so powerfull that they would be classified as gods (and in true story fashion, they are coming). So with that being the case I can't wait to see how the series is going to develop

While this is an early draft and yes there are quite a few grammatical errors and instances of strange or incorrect word choice, it has an overall entertaining feel to it. A MC that puts family first and isnt afraid who, or what, he has to shatter into a million frozen pieces to protect them automatically hits home for me. Love the other stories but overall glad to have Donny back writing.

A little early to leave a review if I’m honest, but I like this so far. A little rushed On the whole but a enjoyable read all the same.
if you like reincarnation/time travel apocalypse stories with stats etc (and a very op mc) give it a try

MC is so OP it basically removes tension.  Kind of like a badly plotted but decently (mechanically) written Chinese fiction.  Rapidly and semi-ridiculously escalating power levels.

The story reads like it's written in a different language and then auto-translated. Wrong words, homonyms and just plain typos abound.
The story itself is a travel-back-in-time redo story, with a twist: most of it is spent in a time skip, so there isn't much redoing going on.
Some authors can manage an OP character. Unfortunately, this isn't one of them.
The style of the first chapters is very caricature-eastern. "Young master" is rushing around, getting showered with stuff and amassing long numbers of attributes. None of which is earned in this case, so there's no sense of accomplishment. He's never in danger (quad digit constitution despite being a mage for the win!), so strike any sense of tension as well.
Probably a nice read for people who like OP characters and don't care about anything else, but if you're looking for more than spreadsheets of high digit attributes, descriptions of the next worlds-bestest-item, the most-uniquest-skill or the mostest gold the MC can find (why gold when the introduction of currency plainly tells us mithril and adamant are at the top of the tree? Who knows) you may want to look elsewhere.

It's a rip off of a Korean webnovel, and it isn't even as good. Jumps around, shitty logic, it honestly just becomes too boring to bother reading.
