The Age of Wasteland and Beastmasters: I can see the information of all things!

Long ago in the forgotten epoch, it was rumored that humans once ruled the vast earth, it's also said there was only one sun and moon within the sky.

In the current era, such tales of the supposed past are nothing but fairy tales.

For countless years humans were forced to huddle together in various shelters, they called the outside world the wilderness as it was too dangerous.

Beasts of all shapes and sizes roamed the outside world, they could harness the supernatural power within the atmosphere that humans were unable to, using it they could rule the elements, pierce the sky, and shatter the earth. Even growing to unimaginable sizes larger than even mountains. Fortunately, as humans couldn't harness the vitality of heaven and earth, they were not targets for food, unless they formed large gatherings tempting these desolate beasts to move.

They could do nothing but meekly struggle in this world, left behind by the race of evolution.

To humans, this was an era of wastelands, a desolate world. Perhaps, one day they too would fade away into extinction.

However, at some point in history, it was discovered a select few could tap into the mysterious powers of the soul and control these ferocious desolate beasts, they drove these fearsome creatures for the sake of humanity and could finally carve out a place in this tumultuous hellscape. They were the Noble Beastmasters, the pillars of humanity. With them at the head, humans prospered although still weak in the face of the numerous dangerous species, they could form large shelters creating safe havens for many more people.

In the new era technology flourished, struggling to keep up with the noble beastmasters, though unsuccessful, with it humans were able to create a new extraordinary profession, ability users. This technological breakthrough allowed for the wide spread of shelters throughout the world, humans were no longer weak flickering flames in the fierce winds but persistent torches in the ice-cold darkness.

Still, humans only occupied minuscule territories throughout the world, ever the inferior to the Great Desolate Beasts.
