Inspite of the quirky fun, light hearted vibe one might expect from a magical girl centered story (although that appears to have some heavy variation whatever kind of media you look to)
There is tension in her struggle to survive throughout the loops- as she gets to know her teamates and ensure they come out all the better for it, speedrunning their character arcs in an effort to bring out the best in them such that when the time to test their mettle comes all too soon, they aren't found wanting.
And all the while solving the mystery surounding the academy- often by way of face checking the tall grass, so to speak.
If you're down for cute girls doing cute things? Yeah, this is pretty nice.
If you're down for cute girls doing cute things, while struggling against the world over, and over again? This is extra nice.

    Style:
The setting is well-fleshed.  Literary devices employed are consistent and reliably explained to complement and maintain a reliable suspension of disbelief.  The style maintains its form to create a single, flowing voice for the author with only a few small hiccups that are easily ignored.  As we reach the second loop it becomes less certain if those hiccups are incidental or intentional.
    Story:
The story is well-paced with some room to breathe and other more fast paced sections that create the rises and falls that make for good reading.  The continuity of the plot is maintained thorough the advancement of the story.  Details are consistent & the plot mechanics are used to further explore the world from new vantage points.  Themes include the responsibilities of friendship, how knowledge affects choice, and morality under paradigm shifts in world view.
    Grammar:
Technically sound.  Felt good to read & requires no extra work to sort through the narrative voice and structure.  A few typos, but nothing I felt was worth pausing my read to point out.
    Character:
The characters haven't had a lot of room to grow yet, but the mechanics used show the potential for depth and growth each character has, particularly the main protagonist and supporting secondary characters.  Antagonists have shown solid motivations, despite space details.  This feeds well into the theme of perspective morality.
    Overall:
The content itself explores the inner psyche though magical girl self-realization.  The nightmares borrow from modern classical fantasy bestiary input from authors such as Naomi Novic & Richard Roberts.  I'm looking forward to seeing how this plays out and I'm excited to see what each loop brings.

I'm sure by now you've heard of Ravensdagger, but if you haven't, this is a great fiction to pick up. A quirky mix of magical girls, time loops, horror and flowery vibes, the original was (in my opinion) an enjoyable read that went off the rails a bit towards the end. A major rework could only have improved things, so I highly recommend you pick this up at some point1

I really enjoyed the idea behind this story when I first saw it a year ago and I'm glad ravensdagger is giving it another chance. If you like time loop stories like the Perfect Run or Mother of Learning then this is similar idea but with Magical girls. As always Ravensdagger has excellent writing with good grammar and solid prose. If you are a fan of there other works please give this one a try.

When a good writer creates something, they do it with the utmost passion and a plan to step forward. RavensDagger is one of these writers. Having written a great many books, he has been able to clearly improve his writing with each chapter of each book that he has written. One of the most popular writers I've seen online, each book recieves a massive online reception that does not leave wanting.
Agartha's Loop was one of his older stories, retired for reasons previously stated by him. Nonetheless, having made a return, he has been able to change a great many things.
Grammar-wise, I believe this book performs excellently, like all his other books.
His characters here are less fluffy, more 'realistic' I suppose, which is not a bad thing, but rather only lends to the engagement of the reader. Furthermore, he possesses an ability to create an engaging cast, with each character having their own unique traits that are not cliched and annoying.
Style is excellt, no questions asked.
Story-wise, I had't read the previous Agartha Loop too far ahead, only around chapter 10 or so, but was still excited by the twists and turns mentioned so far within the previous draft of the book. Having read further, I can see there will be more to come that will be quite poggers.
Overall, RavensDagger has released yet another banger, especially so for not being quite as fluffy and light-hearted as his other works. Excited to see how Amber develops alongside the rest of the cast within the story and where it goes ahead!
    P.S
Title is reference to Odin, cuz he was one-eyed and he had pet ravens.
Also, if anyone knows, please do message me as to why this book is named 'The Agartha Loop' when have not seen no trace of a 'Agartha' so far?

Where do I even start? The concept I suppose. It's not a groundbreaking concept, reminds me of PMMM, and maybe takes a bit of inspiration from it at least for the main concept of the series. But it is executed perfectly as far as I am concerned, unlike other stories with time loops this series truly helps show the difficulties that would come with such a power set.
Next, the Characters, I love them all, from the strong and sturdy Morgan to the mischievous Jade and the hot and lazy Cassie, every character feels truly real and exactly how teens would act in their situation.
And finally the story- the story is maybe the weakest part so far, but by no means does that make it bad. It's good, very good. Just, how to say, slow to unravel due to the nature of the MC's power. But the intrigue is all there and it's handled very well.
The last part is spoilery maybe so ill hide it.
The ending of book 2 is intense, the MC loses and dies for the second time, we truly see in that moment how close she's grown to Cassie. And most people would be wondering how the MC is going to handle meeting her for the third time after all she has seen, But the comment from Seelie adds even more intrigue, is cassie gone for good? is she simple back to how she was at the start of loop 2? or is she now an integral part of the mc? I dont know but it's the saddest cliffhanger and i have to give props for how well it's handled.
Overall. I love this story, the only thing I truly have an issue with is the fact it has seemingly been abandoned completely.. I pray for a book 3 but it has been.. a very long time and RD seems to have completely forgotten about what is IMO his best series with the most potential

It's a time loop story. Magical girls are involved.
    ...
Why are you still here? You've been given everything you need to know it's good. ...Fine, you want more?
It's a time-loop story about American magical girls written by Ravensdagger, that most glorious of bastards.
If you're not already reading it by this point, something's wrong with you, and I'll stake my reputation as a medical doctor on this.
I could talk about character growth, I could talk about worldbuilding, I could talk about how Morgan is best agartha, I could talk about stupid hats on definitely-not-Kyuubey, I could talk about the satisfaction of punching your killer in the face...
But that would be wasting my time and yours.
Read it already. I guarantee it'll be better than whatever cultivator trash you've been mindlessly chowing on like a box of cheez-its long after your tongue is numb from the salt and the taste. Have some steak, for a change.
    Read the Agartha Loop. Now.

This, is not a complete rewrite, instead it's a reposting with the intent to revive. There are many edits thrown about through the story so far that have improved it, but the majority of what happens is the exact same as this stories previous posting. Overall the author is putting their best foot forward and is doing the best they can do to continue this fiction and give it a chance. And I can respect that, even if I belive a reposting needs a bit more... change...
Overall grammar wise Ravens Dagger once again delivers professional quality that is easy to read and smooth as butter. Comfortable, smooth, and fluffy is how I would describe its prose.
Setting wise... like most Ravens Dagger novels things are not as fleshed out as one might like. But in turn this leaves more room for characterisation, fluf, and much more. Overall it's definitely not a Lord of the Rings novel for sure.
Plot wise. It's nothing too complicated, but complicated isn't quite always needed. There are a few head scratching moments, but overall it's fresh, unique, and quite comforting to read.
Character wise Raven hits it out of the park with this one, with another loveable cast of goofballs.
Overall although perhaps a lighter take on the magical girl genre mixed in with a bit of grit, this story packs a punch. I love it, and can't wait to read more.

RAVENSDAGGER! PUBLISH LOOP 3, AND MY LIFE IS YOURS!
One of my favorite stories with an amazing world filled with 3 dimensional characters you get to learn more about in both loops. It’s literally one of the only time loop fictions to hook me this bad. Absolutely love the characters and I think it should be illegal to tug on heart strings this much. Justice for blondie 💔

Saw this and decided to buy it on Amazon since it is a time loop story.  Wouldn’t recommend buying them until a third book is released or the author starts posting again due to the second book ending on what felt like a massive cliffhanger.
Overall: I liked the world the author created but not the characters. I am unsure if things are done on purpose to allow more growth later but with time loops, characters that are not in it but have flaws can magnified due to them not growing alongside the MC. This also becomes a problem because there are only two books with limited time passing during each time loop.
Story: The world is slowly introduced to the reader as the main character learns about it which is a good show, don’t tell method. Not long into the first book a mystery is introduced that shows not everything is as it seems in the world of magical girls causing the reader to become more invested in what’s happening.
Style: Some of the traits added to characters that are common in stories are slightly excessive. The writing flows smoothly from event to event but character interactions tend to be both good and bad. It’s hard to tell if this is because it’s written from the main characters perspective so she is an unreliable narrator or just a mistake on the authors part.
    Grammar: I saw no errors.
Character: This is the most difficult part of the story from me where otherwise I would be invested in its outcome. The characters are mostly written true to who they are except for the main character. It felt like the author couldn’t decide on how the main character should be written. In some instances she takes charge and in others she is unsure and a bit of a pushover. It is the same with her intelligence. One side character is written as an impulsive brat and is so well written I can’t stand her. Another is written as a shipper who comes across as only thinking about potential couples. The last has a rough introduction to the main character then it is seemingly never bro
