Description

Alexander Guntherian was the first full blooded human mage to attend the Academy of Sloth and now he has returned after a few years drunk on booze made with fruit from the tree of knowledge to become a teacher.

He will guide his students in his unorthodox manner to raise them from normal kids to people even their enemies will hesitate to oppose.

So, just a note for all the people who aren't coming from reddit, the author has a HUGE amount of stuff set in the same universe as this story, so read that first.
But anyhow, this series is one of the best fantasy comedies I've ever read. It is smart enough to not take itself too seriously, but still seriously enough its not absurd.
Quick explanation of the story background below
Filling in the gaps in the prologue, is that in the Vespaverse (the universe this story & the other fantasy stories by the author are set in), getting drunk grants you a look at some of your knowledge, be it from your past, present, or future. Now, this knowledge is diluted way way down (due to your mortal mind not being able to comprehend it all).
Now, this should be fine and dandy, but Alex (the teacher in the story) stole some apples from the tree of knowledge & made brandy with them, which he and his best buddy Yuu drank, thus gaining all the knowledge they ever had and ever would have from birth to death. Realizing the oopsie they just made, they skipped out and pulled all sorts of BS for the 3 years they were drunk.

So, if you want a funny fantasy story to pass the time with, this is a great one with a well thought out & built world (an amazing thing which sadly can be hard to find these days).
