Senadin, a victim of loss and liver of an ordinary, boring, sad life, awakes within the abyss to find absolutely nothing. The void is empty, as it has always been, but there are whispers and hallucinations that keep him moving forward for some reason. He then wakes again into a brand-new world. Will he get home, and does he even want to? Who is this mysterious "girl" he meets on the other side? Why are they, two outworlders, brought together? The epic fantasy story begins here, and there are adventures to be had as power is gained and opportunities arise.

This book follows a different flow than the original series. It will have a much faster progression once the entire stage has been set.

This book contains original characters, though families renowned within the world are present. Settings are the same in concept, with new original settings dominating the storyline, while cities and territories renowned within the world are present. The Essence/Awakening Mechanic is present.

This bookcanbe read alongside and works with the original story, though it doesn't make any reference to it, and I don't plan on referencing Jason Asano ever throughout the entire storyline.
