The Abyss

No race is comparable to humans in terms of survivability and adaptability. Thus, they were chosen by greater beings to participate in their little game. Transported to an alternate realm known asThe Abysswhere danger lurks in every corner, they must utilize their wits and strength to the fullest to have a chance at survival.

Alexander (Alex) K. Oswald awoke on the cold floor and was greeted by a new sky. His surroundings were unfamiliar. A total of 100 people were in the same area as he was. They were merely a small part of the game that pitted all of humanity against the world, the beasts, their trails, and most dangerous of all, themselves. The higher beings gave them a chance of survival and a way to gain power far greater than they've every imagined.

The Point System.

They received points through trials, killing monsters, and other secret easter eggs. All to be spent on gaining power or pleasure through the Point Shop.

During a trial, through a turn of fate and lots of luck, Alex gained an ancient power than even gods would fear. Swearing vengeance upon those who brought his world and life to ruin, he gathered friends and allies and turned the higher beings' own system against them.

Striving for greater heights, forsaking my humanity, I shall achieve vegeance on behalf of humanity.

But before then, Alex must learn to control his own power. Before... it devours him.
