Description
Imagine, waking up in your own life. Accept, it's not. Instead, you've de-aged and swapped genders. Meaning you have to rebuild your life from scratch. And now there are murderous monsters prowling the seas, intent on exterminating humanity from the Earth. At least I have to perk of being completely landlocked. Wait? I'm a shipgirl? Well, there goes that idea.

- MiradoRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I have never watched any ship girl anime and still had the feeling to understand the story simply by having seen a few pictures. Though the enemy descriptions could be better or supported by some pictures or links. That is pretty much crying on a high level though since I can look it up my self.
The first chapter was confusing but afterwards a really good start to the whole story. Though why nearly every girl character has to be genderbent if it has no relevance at all escapes my understanding, since it doesn't detract from the story in any way I just do not care.
The story and the main characters are well written and consistent, though her family is quickly identified as side characters with the depth of a puddle. Her extended family is a bit better though mostly through more screentime and potential for development. Her friends I have nearly forgotten about by now, which btw I think is fine and good. Circumstances and places of living change and thus do connections and friends. Whether we like it or not.
