- spunionringRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Really strong premise in the face of tons of isekai tropes, combined with really strong writing and an artful handling of storytelling. Not sure how to describe it but the honesty and weight conveyed by the writing style reminds me of classics like Catcher in the Rye or grittier comics like Hellblazer
- Anita JuliaRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0It’s fascinating how the author crafted such a realistic protagonist, someone who reflects the human side of our weaknesses and desire to escape. He makes us laugh with his absurd attempts to disconnect from reality, yet at the same time, he makes us think about how we, too, sometimes wish for a magical solution to our problems.
The way he deals with the frustration of not being able to reincarnate makes me sympathize with him even more. He craves a new life, but paradoxically seems unable to fully let go of the old one, which adds so much complexity and intrigue to the story. I’m truly curious to see if he will finally find an answer or reach an unexpected fate.
The author has built such an engaging atmosphere, and now I’m eagerly waiting to see if the protagonist will achieve his longed-for reincarnation, or perhaps something even more transformative. This blend of uncertainty and hope keeps me thoroughly connected to the story, and I can’t wait to see what happens next!
