I found the pace a little slow, but I think it's probably because it's a romance, slice of life, and comedy book. Usually, this type of book starts slow.
Since it's only at the beginning, I don't have much to comment on.
Nothing has been shown yet in the protagonist's personality that's worthy of note. The secondary characters seem to be okay.
Overall, the writing is good (the descriptions are well done, the writing pace is fluid, and the dialogues are okay). But I think it's worth improving the choice of words, as some sentences were a little strange. I think practicing reading the text out loud and seeing if it sounds natural can be a good tip.
