This review covers up until Chapter 15_Limelight / Common Enemy
    Style:
All in all, the structure of this story is fairly sound; there are some pretty great descriptions scattered throughout, and I loved nearly every single conversation. My only minor critique is that some chapters seemed to drag on for a bit too long, mainly near the beginning where the first 'traveling' sequence starts; it felt like that lasted way too long, and certain sentences just felt too needlessly wordy.
    Story:
What really kept me going in this story was trying to figure out what Mikhail was thinking throughout all of it. I wanted to find out what they were planning throughout my read as well as the ultimate end goal for the story as a whole. Mikhail comes off as a very smart but cautious person, hiding quite a few things from the readers, such as his appearance, for quite a while, and it was this that I felt really made the story shine.
    Grammar:
Unfortunately, no story is perfect when it comes to this; there isn't anything terribly noticeable, but there were a few times where I felt as if a simple grammar checker could've been used to fix certain misspellings or wording issues. All in all, though, it was perfectly readable.
    Character:
I love the interactions between Mikhail and Blood Claw, and the progression felt smooth and realistic between them being wary of each other to eventually having a mutual respect and having a sort of blooming friendship. (as well as certain hints/jokes at something else brewing.)
This was also improved with the introduction of Kryos. He seems to have such a wild personality and always kept me on my toes with what he would say to Mikhail next, and it was a lot of fun seeing their first introductions to one another.

I tend to like stories with angels and demons so this was a good fit for me.  There is also lots of dialogue which I appreciate and the pacing is nice.  Things happen but they don't feel rushed.  The author does a good job of easing you into the world.  I enjoyed it.

In terms of structure, this story is solid overall. The narrative benefits from some great descriptions throughout, and almost every conversation in the story is enjoyable. However, some of the chapters drag on a bit too long, particularly in the early part of the story during the first travel sequence. It felt as if certain sentences were needlessly wordy, which detracted from the overall pacing of the story.
The mystery surrounding Mikhail's character kept me captivated throughout the story. His intelligence and cautiousness were evident, making me curious about his motivations and ultimate goal. Mikhail's secrecy, such as withholding details about his appearance, added an air of enigma that made the story more intriguing.
The depth of Mikhail's character is what truly sets the story apart. His calculated actions and carefully guarded thoughts are a testament to the author's skill in crafting complex characters. Furthermore, the mystery surrounding his true intentions kept me engaged and guessing throughout the entire read.
The author's decision to withhold certain details about Mikhail's character until later in the story was a brilliant choice.
Well, the grammar. While nothing stands out as a major issue, there were a few instances where a simple grammar check could have improved the text. Despite this, the story is still perfectly readable and enjoyable for me.
The character interactions are a real highlight of the story. The relationship between Mikhail and Blood Claw is well-developed, and it's satisfying to see the progression of their relationship from wary acquaintances to mutual respect. Additionally, the introduction of Kryos adds another layer of intrigue to the story. He has a wild personality and always keeps the reader on their toes with his unpredictable behavior, making him a fun and dynamic addition to the cast.
Overall, while there are some minor issues with pacing and grammar, the story is engaging and well-written. The characters are compelling

Character: You would think that for an angel like Mikhail, living in Paradise would be a happy experience. But it is not, and he can see through the facade of the layers around him that keep him in this gilded prison. It is an interesting take for the main character, as now the reader must follow along with his actions to break free and live for himself.
Story: The blurb hints at this being a slice of an overarching large-scale war, happening between Angels and Demons. During the first chapters, we get to see the beginnings of this being introduced - a captured demon. Where this leads I will not spoil, but it is fair to say that the author does well in building up interest in how Mikhail will come to affect the war through his actions.
Style: The style is consistent throughout, and the structure of the novel is set out well, making it easy enough to read. There are small excerpts in the author's notes that add flavour and really set the scene for the type of theme the novel intends to convey.
Grammar: Unfortunately this is the section with the lowest score, which is a shame as if the language was tightened up it would be a great improvement to an otherwise perfectly serviceable story. Whether this is due to a language barrier or inexperience, I believe taking the time to go over with a tool or extra critical eye would really put a polish on the story.
Overall, an enjoyable stab at an interesting character that has a lot of potential for depth and character growth. And who can say no to conflict between two such opposed sides!

I have to say when I read the snyopsis I was instantly interested. I love the whole angel and demon, along with a city called Obsidian. It gives it a mythology feel without fully devling into or imitating, which I appreciated.
The diary/journal was by far my favorite, it's original and well written, I was able to understand it without being confused. It also added more to the story, which I feel if you're going to use something like that in a book it needs to add and the author was able to use it in a way which enhaced the book. So I appreciated it.
There were a few grammatical errors but I think english might be the authors second language, so it wasn't a big deal to me in those instances. They were still able to get their point and style of the story across, so no harm.
Overall, I think if you enjoy anything relating to demons/angels, wars/conflicts, this book would be an enjoyable one for you. Definitely give it a read.

I think there are some interesting ideas here, and I do love the premsie of a war between angels and demons. It's a classic sort of tale for a reason.
I don't know if there is perhap some language/translation difference, or if the style is just one I'm not used to, but I was having some trouble following the beat-to-beat moments of the story.
If you're interested in the premise, check it out!
I read this story through chapter 6 for the purposes of a review swap, but I jumped ahead to see if the author's writing had improved. While I did find later chapters a little easier to follow, the writing generally remains consistent throughout.
Style: 4.5 -> No major issues. I put my misunderstandings of the story into the Grammar section, just because I think it might be a language issue.
Story: 4.5 -> Like I said above. I think the premise of the story is interesting, and things are moving at a comfortable steady pace.
Grammar: 4 -> I don't want to ding this too hard, but it does feel like I'm reading something with a slightly off translation. Word choice and arrangement just don't feel like natural English to me. I would second another reviewer's suggestion of something like Grammarly that can identify that kind of issue. Besides that though, the grammar actually seems quite good. I didn't really see any major typos or other errors, and punctuation seemed fine. (I do not pay super close attention to those when reading though, so ymmv)
Character: 5 -> Mikhail's motivations are easy to follow, and the other character's personalities seem pretty well fleshed out. Nothing for me to knock here.

Truly a lovely story that I had the immense pleasure to read. It's dramatic, but in a way that's intriguing instead of in your way or over the top. Heaven and Hell, Angels and Demons! A great contrast, but there's a subversion of the usual, and I think it works well.
Style: Immediately, I notice the wonderful prose. It's The descriptions grab you into the scene. It flows well, and as someone that has loud thoughts, my inner narrator was having a blast.
Story: As this is more of a character-based book, which I enjoy, our characters meld within the story's world. I like reading through their lenses. The world is unique and interesting which makes you want to read more.
Grammar: Nothing that was glaring, no errors that take away from the scene. No spelling errors, the clarity is presented well enough, and there aren't incorrect uses of punctuation. Although, I'm not really someone that goes digging up for such things, :]
Character: Mikhail, first of all, wonderful name. As the MC of this story, his motivations are understandable and relatable. It really hooks you in along with the story. Escaping a gilded cage is an apt description of his desires and motivations. Blood Claw is awesome as well; his interactions with Mikhail are realistic and fun to read.
Overall: Well done; I hope this becomes popular because it is truly good. Keep writing, keep posting, and be proud of what you've presented.

Overall: It has its potential. The premise where angels got more ego than imaginable, the architecture of both factions working together in the individual aspect. I'm curious about how things are gonna proceed and even more: how God is going to act upon all these things.
Grammar: There are a lot of minor mistakes and grammatical errors. I would suggest using tools such as Grammarly and ProWritingAid both have a free tier that could really improve the prose and text overall. Another tool is the WordCounter. Give it a shot :)
Character: There's a missing point in the world's vision of the MC, or maybe I took a wrong interpretation of your intentions about the MC and the angels in general. Because from an outside reader's point of view, angels should be more "mechanical" in how they view things. At least, from the perspective of the Bible which you are using as a backstory. In this case, isn't wrong to do it, but more about how you're going to explore it and explain it to the reader. Of course, the Ego is a good factor here, but it should be a less potent 'Ego' than the humans would have or even the demons. About the interactions between the MC and the demon, it's pretty well done and lively. Both have their own voice and view of how things worked and in general, I enjoyed it.
Scene: One thing I missed while reading until my review is the description of the place itself, to give us a sense of holiness and the "WOW" factor to give the reader the imagination of what is to "live in the heaven be like".
Style: Since it's journaling written, at least from the title and they are given this impression, it would be interesting to put dates and foreshadowing of future things happening to give a more personal feeling of the journey of the MC.
Story: the premise is good and has a nice touch. It feels hushed in the starting, but maybe in the future, you can fill the lacks by using dialogue and flashbacks, which will be really interesting. Enjoying so far :)
    Suggestions: From my pe
