Eli, an engineer aboard a spaceship, awakens amidst a snowy alien landscape after a catastrophic attack on his ship. He's crash-landed on a remote planet with no hope of rescue, and is taken in by some aliens he's never seen before. With his survival now hinging on building rapport with these iron-age aliens, learning their ways, and navigating this unfamiliar and harsh new world, Eli does his best to learn and fit in with his new pack while trying to figure out how to get home.
