Tale of Alard

Make sure it's worth watching."------------------------------------The country Buranda has been plagued by Demonspawn for as long as they could remember. These beings are intent on eating humans in order to gain strength, and even the weakest C tier spawn would have no problem taking out a common human. Which is why the uncommon have risen to ensure the survival of humanity. These folk are referred to as Ki Manipulators. They are born with Ki affinity in their core, allowing them to manipulate the very essence of their being. The country split into three nations, each assembling a team of three Monarchs, the strongest and most capable beings to lead the way for a complete Demonspawn eradication. Teams of Warriors were formed to protect the common folk and keep the Demonspawn at bay while a permanent solution is searched for. A century has passed since the creation of this system, but humanity has not lost hope. In fact, the Ki Manipulators continue to evolve as they understand the Ki they use more and more, becoming more powerful as a whole. Still, evil doesn't rest and the Demonspawn have also seemed to grow in power. It seems to be a race of species, who will overcome who and claim Buranda as their own.------------------------------------Alard is the perfect warrior. The subject of intense training --what many would consider torture, from a very young age, Alard seems destined to do big things. His goal? Become a Monarch. Why? Because winning is the best way to live. Alard sees people as simple chess pieces to move toward his ultimate goal. Nothing more, nothing less. But the path he walks is no easy one. Failure and death go hand in hand for his people, after all.
