Description

A world where civilization is worthless and the meanderings of the wild bend humanity to its knees. This the tale of a cruel world, seemingly destined never to find peace. Through calamity after catastrophe, through silence and storm, its people have survived. Though, soon the final calamity will come.

A clone of the strongest, most feared mage, Calamitas, bioengineered to only feel 'positive' emotions, and an ordinary hunter fighting to protect his dying sister begin their journey with a wish to rid a city of plaguebrought strife.

(This is based on the Calamity Mod for Terraria, but should be perfectly readable to any normal viewers. To make its universe into a living, breathing place requires liberties enough to make thisalmost'my own' world, so keep in mind that this isn't a very 'conventional' fanfiction(or maybe it is, I don't actually know the conventions).)

Never would I have thought to read a story about Terraria calamity, but here it is and it is quite fun.Overall it is quite the actiony story you'd expect if you ever played the game, jet powered techno wasps included. Taking its liberties with the thin game lore worked quite well in the cats's fight against quite the monstrosity.
    Style:
While the action scenes can feel a bit repetitive, the descriptions of attacks, especially the hellfire is quite nice. In general the story has a bit of an odd tone, where death seems more of an inconvenience to the characters rather than anything else.
    Story:
Following mainly Ms. TWo, called Mage, the story is about their assault of a Plaguebringer hive, which if not for the OP mage, seems like an awfully stupid idea. The short story fits neatly into what is written, although there are some oddities if thought about any longer. Mage could have incinerated the nest from a great distance in the first place, had she known about it and not just being told to kinda attack the bees.
    Grammar:
It exists and I did not notice any jarring mistakes, but I'd wish for a little more variety in the action scenes. But I did notice some jarring Head hopping without scene breaks whenever it switched from K to M. It is not that bad because the POV is not too close, but it is confusing.
    Character:
Sadly the story falls short on what is my favorite part of a story. The only one getting really interesting scenes and characterization is Mage. Who seems like a loveable klutz really. Despite apparently having a whole bunch of info, she seems to have no idea what any of it is unless it involves killing things.
The rest just does not stand out really. They feel more like faceless NPC's whom I sadly don't care about since they never got a proper introduction before the action started. E guy does a weird come at me bro self-sacrifice and they go "Meh". MAge is not the only one lacking emotions it seems. Then again, the story would be far longer if they all did a
