Revised, restructured and rebuilt from the ground up, Systematic Soul Sorting gets a new coat of paint.

Book One:Elliot Archer struggles to deal with the aftermath of his best friend's death, and when he's at his lowest point, he makes a difficult decision with irreversible consequences. Instead of nothingness, or perhaps the endless dark, Elliot opens his eyes to find a mysterious grey room slowly filling with people, and they all have weapons. A dungeon filled with monstrous beings, murderous teammates, and a strange system reminiscent of an RPG, Elliot must find a way to rise to the occasion, or else he'll fall, again.

Book Two:Elliot Archer has experienced the apathy of Hell, and the horrors of the Grey Room. He's struggled, fought and lost those closest to him, but he has also managed to gain a foothold. Hostile factions, the Dungeon and new faces, Elliot must deal with all of these in order to make his dream a reality.

As to the quality of the book, it is very well written, as expected from this author.
My problem is with how the story represents the sexual exploitation of a vulnerable individual.
    This contains spoilers
The main character has depression and is afraid of causing others harm.
One character, Hannah, does not respect boundaries whatsoever.  Moreover she tries to force him to do things he is not comfortable with:
    1. Pulling him into a bath with naked people when is is clearly uncomfortable:
Elliot, what are you doing over there?” Hannah said, “Hurry up and get in.”
“I think I’ll just wait until later,” Elliot managed. “When everyone else is done.”
“No way,” Hannah said, scandalised. “It’s your bathtub—don’t be like that.”
Elliot took a kind of pathetic half-step away from her as she stepped up out of the bath, the pot in his hands sloshing around from the indecisive motion. Her hand caught hold of the back of the shirt that Grant had brought for him, and he almost tripped as she started to pull him towards the bath.
He does not feel comfortable to get in the bath publicly, which is entirely fair. She however forces a confrontation with a person deathly afraid of it.
    2. Forcing a confrontation to make him strip in front of others:
“Wait,” Hannah said, with what was overtly feigned concern. “Did you want me to help you—actually, let's do that; I don’t mind helping.”
“Hannah,” Elliot said in warning. “Stay over there.”
    -skip a couple lines-
“I’ll tell you what,” Hannah said, sounding far too pleased with herself. “You get rid of your clothes in the next three seconds, or I’m going to come do it for you.”
Elliot brought up his INVENTORY with one hand, the other held up like a sort of shield between the two of them as she took a menacing step forward. His finger hovered over the unequip option for a long moment, and his eyes darted around towards each of them in turn, trying to determine who exactly had the line of sight to see anything—Hannah made as if she was about to lu

Now, the actual story is relatively fine. Most of it is focused on worldbuilding, characterization, and telefrag shenanigans. Well written stuff, mostly.
    But the female characters... Sigh.
As of chapter 10 theres even a few female characters that arent instantly sexually assaulting the MC until he flees. So uh, progress. But yeah if the genders were swapped this shit would be banned, most female characters with screen time wont take no for an answer.
Plot; Utopian power fantasy in hell, ok sure. But! MC's broken powers are non-combat skills! ... With which he can kill just about any human. The power scaling does pretty well to save the story, eventually the mc has some difficulty killing sentient mountains. Not much.
Characterization; some of the non-porn characters are pretty well done... Until they get killed off. Porn character survives, shockingly.
