- EleeyahRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I do think System Integration Sandra has what it takes to pull readers.
Cute girl, blue boxes, numbers. Cutie Darkfae does not hold back on the gore and is perfectly willing to make it graphic. It lends the story grittiness and the stakes are high.
Since there's only one chapter out, even if it's a long one, I can't really say where we're heading yet beyond Dungeon grind, girl git stronk or git fucked.
Style: The paragraphing is good, the pacing seems fine so far. It doesn't feel like Cutie prevaricated or hurried overly. I guess it would've been interesting to have a paragraph follow our MC as she reads the primer? That would've been more show, less tell.
But the rest of the story does not suffer from too much telling. We get exactly what we need to see, and what would be boring, is skipped.
Yup, I'd say the style is pretty dang good, Cutie has a feel for it, and experience will help her sort out the minor details. 👍
Grammar: Uh, I guess, might need some proofreading. It's not bad though, mostly just typos here and there. There are some run-on sentences and I think I missed some conjunctions here and there. But System Integration Sandra is still miles above many stories on RR.
Story: We haven't seen much yet. It's unclear whether it's just on-the-nose survive-the-dungeon, or if a more complex plot will reveal itself. So...can't really rate this? Gave it five stars cause I don't get the sense that the story itself will be told badly, or that it will be uninteresting.
Characters: The MC is likeable, the other dude is an ass. I hope he dies. >.>
Just kidding. They're both very distinct and Cutie manages to preserve their individual voices. Even the third character, who I'm not going to spoil, has her own flair, though we don't see much of her. Again, it's a bit early to properly tell, but I have no worries about character qualities going forward.
