So what does he do? He takes a trip to the local game shop to browse the used titles. Browsing the old cartridges he finds one that he never heard of. Dark Ages: The Death of Magic.

First off, sadly I had to dropp this fiction at chapter 8 because of many tiny things that didn't sit right with me.
    Now for the review:
Lets start with the easy ones:
Grammar is excellent, haven't found a single mistake (haven't been looking for them either though).
Style is good too. Good textflow and pacing. A bit much infodump at times, but hard to do otherwise in that setting. There are just two point that bothered me a bit. Sometimes the word choices seem a bit weird to me, for example using anemic to describe trees. Nothing big, but at times I had to stop and think what the author could mean. What bothered me more was, that every time the MC notices one of his companions they are described as "beautiful", "gorgeous", "hot" or something along those lines (... every... single.... time....).
Now charaters.... you might want to set my star rating one higher in your mind because I am very subjective here.
I really hate the whole "hot childhood friend that secretly has a crush on the MC" trope and well, thats the main heroine.
Unfortunately the MC follows that trope in that he is completly oblivious to her feelings, even when he notices them...
However the MC has bigger problems, for he is loosing braincells. Every chapter he seems to get dumber.
Still in the end what drove me away is the story or rather the worldbuilding, since by chapter 8 nothing really happend that I would call story. There are many small things that when put toghter form a world, that just does not make sense.
    Spoiler: Spoiler
First off, his Skill. None of his spells, except for the kinetic ones, are energy. At least not as they are described. For fire he is creating burnable matter. For lightning elektrons and charged particles (again creating matter). His shield worked differently when he fought the scorpion then when he designed it. Each hit should have, at least, left the scorpion recoiling since it was supposed to reverse the vector.
I know this is more of a technicality, but for some rea
