- Fai BaniRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Hello,
Story is great so far and you cry for more.
if you Like Strong mc than this is a Story for you.
if you like some Comedy elements without turning it into total Slapstick than this Story is for you.
and if you Like Solo MC than i can recommend this story also (So far) - auramasdaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0An interesting regression/litrpg story I found for chance. Even if the trope of the regression is a little abused recentrly (regression it's the new isekai) this story has good quality: first the MC is very average, petty and a little naive in a little word a normal human he doesn't go from shit to uber human in 1 night, he got overpowered yes, but it's still have doubt and regret not like some regressor who in one moment become a champion of power and morale, the shiny leader of his world.
The second is the messages of Admin every time I read them I think "b*tch please" but that is in the further chapter.
The stile is good maybe a little pessimistic but is correct with the background of the MC and there is also some humor.
In the end a good story. - BladesunderRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5So I'm really enjoying this story and the system the author is creating. The characters are interesting if maybe slightly undefined for several of them but overall they are engaging.
The author has mixed in magic to his apocalyptic world so we have more than just claws and fur to worry about. The levelling is kinda thrown in our faces and the MC is clearly OP with plenty of adavantages due to the time regression, so if thats not your cup of tea this might not be the story for you.
The setting allows for a quick build up and as the story progresses it does slow its pace and adds more characters to help drive the story on. There is obviously a whole world to explore so it'll be interesting to see where this goes when they move on from the tutorial.
The stats boxes may bug some Apocalyptic readers but I feel it lets the story flow as it doesn't breakup the chapters too much since its key to whats going on at the time.
There a few grammatical errors but the author is aware and does engage with reviewers so worth pointing out
All in all it's a good read and well worth you giving it a go. - Carson6319Royal Road★★★★ 3.5Ita grammatically well written with language that is easy to be absorbed in.
From what I have read, the regression elements of the story are solid, though the MC sounds like he has a case of perfect memory.
The two weakness I have found in the story is that the characters and situation are emotionally 'meh'. The MC had it slightly rough in his previous life and his response is to be a tortuous and manipulative but in a way that just feels like he's exploting the system.
Also the MCs decision are not well explained and so come across as really dumb. Like why did he want to enter the tutorial classless? His class was revealed a few chapters later and it just got the attention of things he states he wants to avoid? - 1Royal Road★★★ 3.0If you like reading about characters who make stupid mistakes to drive the plot along, than you'll probably enjoy this story much more than I did. I found it frusturating to read when the only thing pushing Jason forward is dumb luck. He is obnoxious and incompetent, with no apparent redeeming traits. This is fine by itself, there's just that much more room for character growth. However, this is a power fantasy; character growth generally happens in stat boxes here. Even if he does change for the better, I don't feel like slogging through any more to find out, and I'm not invested enough to push forward.
- Excal04Royal Road★★★ 3.0It’s not a bad story, but….
First of all I feel like this story has great potential but the author is not a native English speaker because of which the style of writing ticks you off.
For example,
“You’re the first two combatants to fight” he said “Thus, I’ll explain some stuff
Now as much as this seems simple, a fairy who is a mythical creature and a part of a system that has taken over a planet and is in charge of a tutorial would never say ‘some stuff’. Maybe they would, maybe I’m lacking in imagining it, but I felt cringe reading so many similar sentences so far. Same thing with how the admin responds. He is the admin of a system that affects races and changes the fates of planets, there is a certain gravitas that the character demands, yada, yada, I can complain about so many small things.
But at the end I still read through most of the chapters only because it had potential, so much can be done. I maybe partial because I love regression stories but I truly want to see more of this story and hopefully with improved writing style.
The grammar feels ok, but the way the sentences are made, making the situation seem to happen just like that. Some without much detail where needed and some where its absolutely pointless or meh. It kind of pushes people who are interested away.
Characters, the author has planned for quite a few and tries to give background for so many of them but the way it’s done isn’t always smooth. A for the effort but C for the execution so far.
I know how hard it can be to see critical reviews for something that author worked so hard and I am sorry for that. I hope you take this in a positive light and change a few things because all this story needs are a few circumstances changed, reinforced or edited to make this feel like a great story.
Good luck. - MalcRoyal Road★★ 2.0Standard power leveling, regressor, "special", OP MC. One problem - he's totally unlikeable mostly because he's despicable and utterly self serving. Also the deities are equally despicable with non-sensical, arbitrary behavior. Literally one deity's goal is to get as many followers as possible and then make them commit suicide because it'd be funny. It's a frustrating read. Recommendation - give the character a smidge of compassion and a bit of a higher purpose. Maybe rather than 100% self serving he can help some other people who were screwed over in his previous life. Regressor novels generally work because the regressor has been sent back to save humanity or some such. This regressor needs a purpose other than using his knowledge from the future to become rich and powerful.
- daohaoRoyal Road★★ 2.0Pros: Simple System, Good background for MC, fast progression, no moral dilemma trope.
Cons: Characters (ALL), errors in writing, stupid decisions to pull the plot forward, no real tension or MC doesn't seem, well, like anything. He simply is; Incomplete book.
I read it on Amazon, it started of fine but the moment tutorial began, alot of questions piked up regarding MCs decision & most didn't get a good answer.
For example, MC chose not to pick a class and author said there is a reason for that, but that really wasn't explained well. And even when fighting a certain death boss monster, MC didn't invest his 'stock' stats and rather kept on hoarding it coz he wants it for future. So yeah alot of such decisions.
And since it's junk food, obviously, it got no tension or such. MC doesn't even seem like a real character, no emotion seems to be there other than plot progression plans. If you finish the book & someone asks you what might MC do in this situation, you can't answer because this guy doesn't have a character at all. Other characters are just as bad. Gods are stupid too.
System and abilities are fun. The skills are likeable and O.P.
I thought of giving it a 3 - 3.5 but the end of first book made me feel cheated and on retrospect, it doesn't really qualify for such rating considering the mistakes in a book hosted in a paid platform.
So in conclusion, if you don't mind logic loop holes, characterless MC & his ever correct decisions even tho they are stupid, go for it. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it after all the author doesn't seem to be active. So this might remain incomplete forever.
