Young adult Sias Jourdin is forced to go on the run, his semblance of a normal life reduced to nothing by the tremendous force of the wave called fate.
Even worse than the serial killers, hired assassins and crazy billionaires believing to be able to control magic,
His true foe is his own past.

- Night_Shade0611Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I like how the story keeps adding on and not changing POV constantly without the reader knowning also how it keeps me want more
- RocketWeaponsGuyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A short read, but one dense with information. Please read! You will not stop reading until you finish this. Very intriguing!
If you're not a fan of gender bender, don't worry because its really just an extra how i see it.
The grammar works fine at the end, even though it's translating from french to english so it's kinda shitty. Also, dialogue is marked weirdly at the start, can be confusing.
Shit escalates so fast and so much that if you like reading with music (like me!) you'll be listening to Thousand March in no time. 100% worth it. - RiddleyRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0In actuality, i'd give this a 4.25, but RRL wont let me. D:
For reference, this review has been written as of chapter 10. I'm making an effort to not have any spoilers in it. I'm going to break this down into parts and try to be as objective as possible on this, as this is both for the author (Hi!), and for future readers.
First off, with regards to style: I greatly appreciate the way the story is structured. In general the chapters actually read as such, with cliff hangars well placed to make me want to keep reading. Well done.
Grammar: I understand the author isnt a native english speaker. While there may be mistakes due to inconsistances in differing languages, it's still easy to understand, unlike so many others posted online. So many things, like proper use of quotes and attention to who's speaking. It is for the most part clear.
Story and Character: I decided to roll these into one, as they more or less go hand in hand. As it currently stands, its a bit too early to really give judgement on the main character and the story itself. However, I will do my best.
As far as characters are concerned, the MC is a bit... Hmm... Muted? Its difficult to judge how they're feeling at a given moment. Currently there is obviously a lot of background currently left unsaid, and simply referenced. Clear relationship lines still have to develop, as (as of this review) only about eight characters have been actually introduced.
Now... Story wise, this is actually where i'm personally fairly biased. It's a fun trope, and I'm hopeful to see where it goes. I'm flat out genuinely interested in where this is going. Hints of supernatural going's on, and maybe even a conspiracy. At this current moment, the lack of explanation on the background that is being referenced at times only adds to the layer of 'in the moment'.
To summarize, its well written and has a promising story. 100% worth reading.
