Surrounded

Asay doesn't have any wild ambitions. He wants to finish his mandatory service in the Valley's Guard as soon as possible. He wants to find a cozy little job after that, why not as a [Scholar] in some trading company, like his father. In the meantime, he wants to have some fun in the tavern with his friends whenever he can. Getting a girlfriend is quite high on his to-do list as well. Nothing extravagant, really.

Life is not so easy for Asay, unfortunately. Not when he lives in one of the only clusters of civilization hundreds of kilometers around, when the Wilds that surrounds them are choke-full of terrifying beasts and when the only things preventing the two to meet unpleasantly are tall city walls, complex runic magical devices on said walls and, well, Asay himself. Mandatory service in the Guard, remember?
