Description

Rejected by his world, a mulleted teen who lives his life as a caricature of his old man's glory days is forced to take care of a dragon's princess.

These two normal people, at least normal unto their respective worlds, struggle to cope with becoming the monsters that a bunch of mad gods need them to be. Do they side with the insane god escaping the organic clockwork of Death, the god who wants to destroy that evil, or perhaps, a third option?

Content Warning: This will depict substance abuse, suicidal thoughts, and will likely become an ongoing list of content advisories.

This is going to be an adventure-centric story, not a battle fantasy. It's got elements of LitRPG and standard isekai, but not for the MC. He's got a different path to follow, one without power-leveling and harems.

I've read a good bit and I have to say that so far it seems really good.
Characters...
I think this is definitely the best thing in the story, the fathers seem like the most sincere person - almost more of a chill grandfather character than the father.
So far there hasn't been much said by the monster, so I can't really judge her character - but so far she seems pretty chill,
The MC while in a constant state of existential crisis is relatable and stands out amongst the others.
The world...
The story takes place in a modern world, it's a bleaker world than most of us would consider the norm - but nothing too dark, it definitely never feels forced like someone trying to make their writing more serious by adding gore and drugs.
The writing...
I personally enjoyed the humour, personally my #1 moment that made me laugh out loud was...

The conversation between the MC (who was stoned af) and a deity from another world, and the MC was just hallarious in the setting.
Advice / What to improve
I wasn't really a fan of how you showed the MC and the monster in the 1st chapter and then didn't really explain what was going until chapter 4/5.
Also, maybe it was just me but I'm pretty sure you mentioned the MC being in a "guild" before mentioning the game, so for a good bit, I thought he was in some secret guild IRL, lol.
