The style  of writing is witty and amusing. I found it funny and the story telling very enjoyable. The story itself is atypical of anything I've seen on royal road and at least for me that is a very good thing. The grammar is great and I didn't see any glaring mistakes. The characters are already colorful and interesting even though it has only been a few chapters.
I highly recommend that you read this book, you'd be passing up something special otherwise.

As of Chapter 3 but will update later
Very different from the mainstream stories on this site and the choice of genre/character/setting so far as well as the stunningly accurate depiction of naval warfare make this story stand out from pretty much everything else on this site.
Style: 4.5/5  Present tense is very hard to pull off but the author does a really good job, though it may get confusing for people used to reading stories written in the past tense.
Story: 4/5 Has potential but we haven't seen enough to give it a 5 star rating yet, although the plot thus far seems gripping enough. (Just the general direction/purpose of the story is missing for now, but it's only been 3 chapters so)
Grammar: 4/5 Mostly perfect, with a few typos here and there but you might want to put the dialogues in separate paragraphs.
Character: 5/5 Really realistic, likeable and if the synopsis is anything to go by, incredibly unusual.
Read this before you can't claim to have followed it from the start and if you appreciate 'different' types of stories (and love).
