This is a very enjoyable read. It reminds me of the author's other work, Respawn Condition. This story though, seems to be more clear with regard to what's going on and why.
I like the casual narration from a being that has no business narrating anything. I'm curious where this goes.

The story is quite easy to follow, the idea is novel and I quite enjoyed the dialoguesI.
I became a devoted sunflower follower, wanting more sustenance of this quick-read story.
The plot after book 1 is still not fully developed - a lot of open questions - and I'm quite curious about book 2.

Can't believe I'm having this much fun reading about a sunflower. Though there is a serious storyline underneath and a bit of violence, we get such a calm and wholesome pov from our sunflower main character. The style is fun, the friendship is sweet, and I'm really interested in how the plot will progress!

My review will be spoiler-y, and so if you don't want to know anything other than "is it good?" then know that Sunflower is a unique, slow paced slice of life lit RPG featuring a non-human protagonist and elements of trauma and grief, although these occur at a remove.  If you want more details, (moderate) spoilers await!
The first thing you must know is that Sunflower is about a sunflower whose interests are the sun, good soil and to some degree the strange creature that has been dragging it around all over the place.  Sunflower is not particularly concerned with where they are going or why there only seems to be the one Burch but they are a polite flower and so they try not to be a bother, and they rather enjoy seeing things especially the sun when it is not being blocked by rude people e.g. trees and not-birds and also birds.  Burch seems to be very attached to Sunflower, sometimes literally (ha, that’s some rooting humor), and Sunflower has some concern for Burch although as has been stated Sunflower is a sunflower and so their concerns mostly center on the sun and the viewing thereof.
Speaking of Burch it must be said that she a dodgy sort of unknown origin.  At first I suspected her to be a rabbit, but upon further examination she may be an otter.  Recently evidence has come to light that she is in fact a heron, although this is still speculation.
A unique voice, an engaging perspective and enough narrative distance to make the nasty stuff a little less visceral if that’s an issue for you.  Highly recommended, give it a shot.

A wonderous story i was glad to read. I can't wait to see what comes next. It has been truly interesting reading a story that is mainly from the perspective of a Sunflower. It has been funny and heart warming at times reading this story. I binged it in two days.

What can I say, is sublime.
In the minimalist storytelling style, there's significant character development conveyed through gosh darn system prompts. Delightful.
Worldbuilding is tantalizing and delightful if a bit muddled by the filters.
Grammar is free of noticeable flaws.
Characterization of our sundrinker is well done, while the ambiguous monster is tantalizing in brevity, yet intriguing in its details.
The delightfully offputting dynamic duo that just love killing.
The friggin boat arc was top-notch, just two friends enjoying the sun, gives me best friend shivers.

This book hit me on a very deep level. It's rare that a book impacts me as much as this one did, and in such a limited time. The author mentions a planned volume 2, but honestly I think this story is perfect as a standalone work. The writing is simple, elegant, and captures the tone perfectly.
    The world is amazing.

A very interesting twist on the traditional LitRPG.  I love the characters and perspective.  You have done very well at choosing the though process of a sapient sunflower.  The laxidasical attitute towards its own mortality is a very good way to contrast with Burch.  I look forward to seeing what will happen next.

Very good story for anybody who likes a unique perspective and attitude! Its definitely a sunny point of view in a dark world and a refreshingly relaxed main character. The world is still slightly vague as of the most recent chapter (28) but is shaping up to be an exciting, bloody and beautiful wonder to behold!

Been a fan of Raz work so just been steadily going through there works and this is a nice short read, honestly a fun ride and personally with a rather nice ending even if a bit suprising to realize as it happens. A enjoyable even if short read compared to the rest of there work and I recommend giving it a shot.
