Quill hasn’t had an easy life. Which is why he was contemplating jumping in front of a train when the system hit and transported him into its tutorial dungeon as it prepared his world for its “System integration.”

Now he has to contend with rats, roaches, and other more sinister things lurking in the tunnels with a system that seems all too eager to throw horrible situation after horrible situation at him.

Worse still, he isn’t going at this alone. A voice that seems to delight in mischief and the occasional commentary is speaking to him. Problem is he can’t quite remember if she was always there or not.

But she does seem interested in him. A little too interested. Plus there seems to be something a little more malicious going on behind her snide remarks and flirtatious banter. He was mostly safe from her sure. But he couldn’t say the same thing about others.
