It was a very cute story and a nice journey into the thoughts of caliban the e̶n̶d̶l̶e̶s̶s̶l̶y̶ ̶h̶u̶n̶g̶r̶y̶ cute snake one. While also delving into the concept of higher cognitive functions and evolving self identity from a non-human point of view. Overall it was a nice albeit short read that might give you a sembalnce more context to a character from the main story (even though it is a fanfiction).
