Story Of Legends

In a world suffocated by the shadow of Lunara, a sinister satellite ruled by timeless, seemingly unbeatable immortals, a runaway slave named Jiiku finds an unfathomable power—crimson lightning that ignites inner life.  Because of this power, which he acquired from a secret box that the immortals sought, he is a target and is pursued throughout a damaged landscape.  Together, they become symbols of rebellion, sought after for their abilities and persecuted for their secrets. He finds an unusual friend in Riku, a young man who has the chilling ability to generate ice.

An alliance with Aethrya, a renegade immortal who has turned against her own kind in an attempt to overthrow her father Zaldra's rule, is formed throughout their treacherous voyage.  Equipped with special weapons created by a Fire Djinn who was exiled, the three must traverse perilous areas, such as shifting labyrinths, cursed forests, and the frozen summits of old mountains.  Their strength and loyalty are put to the test by persistent, invisible adversaries and obstacles.

Their search reveals a secret: eliminating the immortals' primary source of power is the way to vanquishing them.  But along the way, they have to face not just outside dangers but also long-kept secrets, unanticipated treachery, and the sacrifices required by a world on the verge of extinction.  More than just a struggle to survive, this is a last-ditch effort to regain freedom from an unending, unavoidable darkness. The outcome will determine the fate of both mortals and immortals in a final, devastating clash.  The full cost of power will be exposed, loyalties will be put to the test, and the boundaries between friend and adversary will become hazy.
