Description

Dreu Guillotin was an ordinary peasant living in the town of Berkton when an army of demons attacked. Faced with impending doom, he discovered the dormant power within him. The Emperor Class, a unique character class, gifted its user the power to summon loyal soldiers to fight in one’s name. His newfound powers saved Dreu from the attack but this was only the beginning of the demon invasion. The human forces, clearly caught flat footed by the demons, scrambled to get their defenses together. Dreu, along with others displaced by the conflict, found himself heading towards the capital which was rumored to be impenetrable.

About the story: The story starts with the main character discovered that he has the ability to summon creatures and warriors to aid him in battle. Due to the limitation of his abilities his current arsenal of summons are limited. As the story progressed he experienced power ups and upgrades to his summons.
Style: I liked the style of balanced characters. It is more logical to be weak at first and you get stronger as you progress. A weak character throughout the story is just a disappointment but an OP character from the start of the story is just boring or unbelievable. There's just logic in balanced characters making the story more immersive and relatable.
Grammar: I don't find problems with grammar in the story. I find the story easy to read because of how good the writing is.
Character: The character is well written. Not to annoying, not Leroy Jenkins or YOLO. It's a character who can learn from mistakes and learn abilities through experience.
In summary this story has the elements that I like. So far the main character is also agreeable with his choices. I find the story a good read and would like to thank the author for introducing the story to me.
Thank you once again! That's all for the review.

I really like the premise of this story so far. The prologue left me interested in cracking open the next chapter of the story.
Style score: This immediately began to scratch the itch of the progression fantasies I read. It has the standard format, MC isn't anything special right off the bat and then gains powers through some sort of trial. It leans into and uses the tropes well in that regard.
Story: This is certainly something that has a lot of potential. I really liked the path of the MC and will be following this work just to see how this progresses. More on that in the character section.
Grammar: I didn't notice any glaring grammar issues. The pacing felt good and the language was consistent and coherent.
Character: This is where it shines for me. It's a little bit of a slow burn. The MC is a summoner class of sorts. Up to the current point, MC is rather limited in the summons they can bring to bear, and the summons do feel a bit too strong, however the world seems like a desperate place and this sort of power is the only way the character would be able to find themselves with the success they have. The chapter I was able to end on, did have the MC learning another summon and I'm eager to see how this turns out many chapters later in the book as their class becomes more powerful.
If I had ANY suggestions, it would be maybe to add more snippets of power to the footmen while they're the only skill the MC has. It would be interesting to see them weaker but leaning into the "good in numbers" tag. Potentially having the MC able to summon 3 weaker versions at a time and having the first encounter with them show their individual weakness but their strength in numbers. This is just a suggestion though, because as I said, the story has really good potential and with more chapters, the MCs abilities will take on more of a life and flavor of their own.
    Thanks for the read!

from chapter 32 to 52 the main character has entirely vanished from this book, its basically an entirely diferent book, the emperor class isnt even mentioned. you just start getting interested in the character and his story and you never hear from him again. its incredibly annoying and the tags need updating to multiple lead characters at a minimum since "emperor" dreu has fallen into a hole and been buried somewhere
