Storms Of Ataraxy - [Progression, LitRPG]
Community Rating
Description
The System arrived without warning, on one of many lonely days Earth spent floating along the milky way.
Then in a blinding flash, the world and its inhabitance werejudged.
Tom Murphy never asked to for his path, a fate that's discovered him.
Thrown into a global qualification tournament broadcast across a seemingly infinite multiverse, he claws his way into Earth’s top ten finalists, only to be claimed by one of the most feared deities in existence.
But being Chosen isnotsalvation.
It is an unrepayable debt that grows with you.
It isownership.
Returned to a fractured Earth being actively terraformed under System-imposed Tutorial conditions, Tom and his allies must build a faction from nothing but their own ambition, while monsters, rival elites, and divine politics close in from all sides.
And when death becomes salvation, somethingelsebegins to surface.
The multiverse isalwayswatching.
The gods are wagering, scheming, even meddling.
And Tom is starting to remember things he was never meant to.
If the System wants a new champion…
It may yet again regret who it chose.

- TDavisRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Great read! Can’t wait for more ! Definitely caught my interest!! Very descriptive and engaging love the main character, Tom, cannot wait to see how the story continues. This author paints a very colorful new world that sucks you right in. His characters personalities are amazing. And lastly. The fight scenes are descriptive and exciting.
- XlntguyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Honestly, the opening I thought was kind of bland and generic. Expecting it to be just like every other litrpg where truck-kun annihilates MC and he gets to be op out of no where. So far the MC seems almost laughably agro but if that is intentional then it should make for a very interesting story with a fresh twist with the tournament arc before the tutorial. Can tell it’s a newer author based on some grammar and structure choices but as the author gets better at writing this story could be brought to life in a way only a few other books have been. Granted I’m a fanboy of books like ‘frost bound’, ‘The Primal Hunter’, and other more combat focused Litrpgs. I’m hoping the story develops with continued themes and a greater plot overhanging the Tom (MC). Fantastic set up!
- izaboyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I like the authors take on something new happening with the pre tutorial “tournament of power” it feels like every single litrpg starts the same way and can become a slog to go through. It’s nice to enjoy a fresh take that’s also interesting enough to be enjoyable. The fights are familiar territory with actual fighting insights
