Stone Will- Dragon Heart
Community Rating
Description
He was born anew in a world where martial arts were indistinguishable from magic. He only received a neuronet and meaningless desires from his past life. What lies ahead? He dreamed of adventure and freedom, but those dreams were taken away from him. The same way his mother, father, and sister had been taken away. They took the Kingdom, they took his own destiny. But he is willing to wage a war, against the whole world if need be, to bring everything back. Even if the army opposes him, his sword won't waver. Even if the Emperor sends the legions, his step won't falter. Even if demons and gods, heroes and enemies alike are to unite against him, he won't bend to their will. His own will is iron itself, unstoppable. His name is Hadjar and he heeds the call of the dragon heart within him.

- Mad-jackalRoyal Road★ 0.5I have followed the series for four and a quarter books now and have the necessary information to warn you away from this series if you should ever see it elsewhere.
The main character is an idiot, facts about his cultivation change from book to book but he hasn't grown in level since the first book. He gets better with his sword in intangible and impossible to track ways. His nerual implant bugs out during the second book and hasn't come back yet. He is always just managing to not die and passing out. Every fight this happens.
The world is a typical Chinese novel world but pushed through a Russian filter. The lack of humanity in Chinese storytelling mixed with the bleak and depressing storytelling in russian literature makes for an awful time all around.
Finally the writing style tries to make some grand epic story that has fallen flat at every turn. Between the attempt at sounding profound or the sheer predictability of it all, well it leaves a reader wanting.
