Sleep deprived and heartbroken, Travis wanted to force himself through a nine-hour drive back home, only to end up in the town of Red Oak Valley. Of course, his relationship isn't the only thing that's dead.
Kendra's stuck at a dead-end job. Sure, the people are nice enough, but how far ahead can you get working at a diner? She wants a change, but she'll soon learn; she should have been specific.
The dead will rise as patchwork abominations descend upon the once calm town.

- TrickthefirstRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I felt minor issues with pacing in the first couple chapters but it corrected which is why I give it a 4.5. (The pacing could just be me lol) Otherwise it seems like it's a fun horror story in the making. Not too much right now but it already has a solid amount of suspense and intrigue to have me hooked.
