Description

The world is ruined. In the year 1999 August 3rd, a certain team of scientists discover a new type of virus. Their careless handling of the dangerous specimen causes an outbreak, now people are cannibalizing each other without a care for their own wounds, turned into mindless monsters that feed on anything that moves and produces sound.

A meteor landed in the Northern Siberian land, wiping out most life in the impact area. Carrying with it malevolant extraterestrial creatures, hungry for blood. Human blood. The meteor hadn't only done that, but it had plunged the earth into an estimated 2 to 3 year long global cooling and darkness.

Temperatures dropped below zero and survival became a far concept to reach for most almost impossible, only the lucky may survive the initial strike, but the following disaster of being run over with zombies and alien creatures would kill the weak. Humanity had never been closer to extinction ever before. But, like the adaptable roaches they are, they survived and some of them even triumphed.

Veronika, the 15 year old Murmanskian pickpocket. She was a normal teenager up until the apocalypse happened. She miraculously managed to survive. The sun had never peaked beyond the dusk clouds in the air. Veronika, originaly from Murmansk Russia, was an orphan since she was 7 years old. She barely recalled her parent's names. In her desperation, she had resorted to pickpocketing and theft to survive.

But, now with the apocalypse in tow, all of that didn't matter. She no longer needed to steal from rich folk walking down the streets, or break into military supply warehouses to swipe food and drink just to fill her stomach.

Thanks to her unique breaking and entering skills and her approach to scavenging, she managed to make ends meet. Breaking into shelters, stealing supplies from other survivors who weren't around their bases at the time and gathering what she needs, simultaneously avoiding the mindless cannibalistic infected and navigating her way around the Snejnay Ten.

Veronika, by chance, had stumbled upon an abandoned dilapidated military base. Deciding to explore it, she found herself facing a giant tank, the T-80BV, a model tank that somehow survived the initial collapse, having a full tank with a manual and several take off supplies with a strange note with instructions left by a, now deceased lieutenant, Veronika had a goal, a supposed way out.

Will Veronika triumph with her slyness and pickpocketing theft skills and be able to pave her path through the snowy hell-scape... Or will she fail?

What to expect:

-Action packed and tense scenes.

-A unique and full cast of side characters.

-Villainous MC. She won't be a creul murderer no. She's just a teenager who's seen the world in two different ways, both dark, harsh and scary. She will do what she must to survive.

-Sensitive topics. As the Tragedy tag suggests, I will go over several sensitive topics including but not limited to: Death, depression, mental illnesses, creulty, manipulation etc.

-Strategic MC. The MC, as a survivor, needs the brains to plan out her scavenges, thoroughly scout areas and watch out for threats traps and even people.

-Gore. Do not expect to get an apocalypse story without gore.

-Sci-fi elements. As described before, there will be aliens. But there won't be just one type of them. And alien technology isn't a thing. Instead, it'll focus more on alien biology as they had landed on earth through a meteor.
