Jason has done everything and learned everything. Not comprehensively. No. That would be silly. But enough. Enough to know that there is nothing more to learn. Enough to know he is not needed. That changes, however, when a strange phenomenon imbues humanity with an enigmatic System and shunts them across dimensionsinto a cruel, uncaring, and downright lethal Tutorial.

Jason fights for survival, unconcerned about what he must sacrifice. His only goal is to reignite the driving curiosity he had somehow lost over the years. If he must embrace the System and shed the weakness of his human flesh, then so be it.

But all things end. Even those as strange and vibrant as dimensional rifts and xenofauna. When Jason reunites with humanity, will they accept him despite what he has become? Will they even understand? Yet, they must understand. Like it or not, with billions dead, humanity needs Jason.

Perhaps just as much as he needs them.
