Stars of the Downfall Compendium

Following the advent of essence into the world of Aramor, mankind struggled to stay alive as vicious beasts and powerful demons threatened to wipe them out entirely. As humanity was pushed close to extinction, a select few were able to grasp the essence that had brought this change to their world and awaken what came to be called their Systems. These System Bearers pulled humanity back from the brink and forged a delicate balance, though no side was willing to bear the risk to break it.

This story follows Charles Martel, a millennium after those first System Bearers saved mankind, as tensions slowly rise and hidden undercurrents are slowly brought to the surface.
