Stars and Amethyst

In a land of magic and wonders humans on lands and faeries underneath. Peaceful as it was what would ensue when the catastrophe in the legends arrive early, would it only affect the fae living hidden, as prophesied.  What would happen when a young boy and girl is in the story? When they unknowingly play in the hand of Fate.
