Starpainters

Starpainters tells the story of an alien killing machine sent from the Nerongans - an ultra-futuristic fascist empire - to conquer a far-away fantastical planet named Essel.  The planet is unique from other celestial bodies; the life forms here appear to possess magic, like something out of a fairy-tale!  Seeking to conquer the planet and horde the divine essence for their own evil ways, the fascists employ a corporation that specializes in the conquering of planets: the infamousStarpainters, headed by a CEO rumored to be nearly a thousand years old.

But a simple glitch tips the odds in Essel's favor, and nothing is ever as simple as it should be.  Will the Esselites brave the coming storm, or is the fantastique paradise doomed to be just another speedbump in Neronga's path to total galactic conquest?
