Star Divers: Myra's Song, Underworld (A Sci-Fi GameLit)
Community Rating
Description
Myra lost everything in Bane. Now, forced against her will to become a pawn in a very dangerous game she wakes up on an alien world called Eda, alone, inside a new body, in the ruins of a crashed starship. The rules are simple. If she is going to survive she must make it to the Hub, level up, and fight against alien creatures, daemons, and dungeons unlike anything she's ever seen.
Myra's Song, Underworld is set in the Star Divers Universe but can be read Stand-Alone.

Myra's Song is now complete and will be available soon on Amazon as both an e-book and physical book. I've taken many comments to heart and even rewrote about the opening for a stronger start. The battle with the Nanook is 100x better now. I hired a professional editor and it was an awesome experience. Book 3 ofStar Divers, following Breq, is currently being edited. I'm not sure where or when it'll release (most likely February, straight to KU), but whenever I figure something out I will let everyone know.
Thanks for reading.

- Lizzy NewRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Myra is an awesome character, stuck on the planet Eda with no way home. This isn't a typical trapped in a VR story and after getting close to the end you find out why. The story is fast paced slightly horror, slightly mystery, a little fantasy (mostly the names used for creatures and things) and lot of sci-fi action. At times the story gets really dark but there is some humor. It's refreshing reading a story about a female MC that is both strong and creative. The side characters like Jace are also well developed. The third person chapters with her brother were unique but didn't feel out of place, it was a cool side story I wish there had been more of. I love how this ties into the other Star Divers books while also standing on its own (I was wondering why Myra had her own chapter in Contingency and now it makes sense).
Cons: some grammar mistakes. - Paul BellowRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I can't wait to see where this goes next...I've read this author before, and I'm excited to see how this one turns out. If you're looking for something different (in a good way), check this out. I love the cover art too...It will be interesting to see where this story goes next. I'm watching with interest!
