It was great I just wish there was more it was getting so good , it's not finished but it's still worth it to read, it definitely has some shocking stuff about the  world and Harry and the reasons he didn't do so well at the start and betrayal, but everything fit just so perfectly and made sense the author made it amazing

I rarely give a review without criticism but this is easily one of my favorite works.
Well thought out, logical, and with an expectation to continue in the same vein. JRK wrote a beautiful and engaging children's story but this author gives us an adult story to sink into. Like the Grimm stories Vs Disney adaptation.
I loved the original books when the first came out. The enjoyed the films when they were released. Well, except the ending where it skips 19yrs to the happily ever after. That always annoyed me. But I have grown older and matured since then. I can't simply push the "I Believe Button" like I used to as a kid and young adult. I need a story that I can soak into and want to wonder what would I do if I was a part of this world. This story delivers exactly that.
The story here expands and fills huge gaps in the world building JKR started in the originals. It also gives the protagonist the actual ability to design his own routes to his destiny instead being lead around by the nose. Which i appreciate immensely and profusely. The characters are more detailed and given an opportunity to be seen. Rather than props orbiting the main storyline.

Honestly in the origional books I always thought harry was a dumb puppet. Let's not even get started on ron. Loser. I'm glad I'm not alone in that opinion. So far this story is great. I like harry building his own power base. I can't wait to see what happens when Dumbledore and Voldemort realizes he isnt playing their game anymore.
