Description
Miles "Shrug" Lindstrom got a quest years ago. He was the only person who could see the window, and in addition to the quest, he could also see a count down to the end of the world.
As an introvert who just wanted to be left alone, the only really bad part about training for the end of the world was the possibility that he might be crazy and even more broke after the countdown ended. After all, if the quest had just been his imagination, he was going to be massively in debt with a rental full of useless junk. But when the countdown stops, it's nothing like he could have imagined. Miles had been prepared for almost any scenario, but a world full of monsters hadn't been one of them. Will finishing his strange quest help him survive?

- TrasakRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0At 4 chapters in we have only seen the hint of where Sponsored Apocalypse will go but I am digging the world start. It is always a challange to mix initial personal charqcter development with the general info dump required the clue in the reader on the litrpg mechanics without swamping the actual story. So far so good. Looking forward to where inspiration takes BC. HAZARD!! (yeah I'm a dork)
- David NylenRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The next book in the system apocalypse series. Follows a different MC than the first. Will be interesting to see if there is any cross over or if the topics and ideas from the first find there way into this one.
A good well thought out story, requiring minor edits. But as the author publishes to Amazon using a professional editor no issues. - DiamondninjaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The title says it. I finished the first book and am eagerly awaiting for the start of book two.
Good premise, branching more into what appears to be a common multivirse for other novels by this author that I also enjoyed.
Great and unique character power set and the dialog is great and characters are believable.
Feed me more! (Please?) - IAmAmesRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It's a fresh take on the apocalypse genre with a creative new powerset and a system with a significantly harder stat allocation. This allows for more from for the story to grow without stats feeling like they have inflated and lost all meaning. A really good book overall and I couldn't have enough before the first book ended so I'm looking forward to more chapters.
- KyzugRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Hard to express how much I am enjoying this one. Author skill at setting a scene is top notch. It isn't often I become so invested in a character. Got to admit as well, I have been a sucker for Good Boy doggos since Old Yeller. Hoping the third book will be forthcoming soon. Well done, Blaise.
- LoopowRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0When I first picked up the story I was very disappointed in the first chapter when the MC lost all his gear and I stopped reading, months later I picked it up again and was quite surprised, I loved it lol. The story is different from the usual litrpg post apoc with an MC that has a set of unique skills, love his familiar, please keep up the good work.
- Shades98Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Well, This story is like a lot of others where the MC gets a window before the actual world ends and uses his time to plan... but then righ when the world ends all his stuff is gone and he has to figure out everything going on. There are multiple people who have an advantage at the start and there are people who will be choosen...
So Goblins still suck and should be killed as the Pest that they are. That hasn't changed nor has challenge portals show that you need to constantly be moving to actually get something good... But the MC now has gone on his own to see the world. - BlackguardnovelsRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5This kind of story is something that's been done a million times over but it's not a story that everyone gets right. With confidence I can say this author is doing this genre Justice. While the overarching goal of the MC is common and boils down to becoming the strongest to survive. I love the way that the author executes his story. It's a gritty survival story with an MC with powers not commonly seen in this genre. While I love to see an MC decked out in the world class items. The feeling I get to watch a true murder hobo dress up in hobo fashion is what gets my motor running. I say screw pristine gilded armor and say yes to a mini skirt that gives plus 10 to dexterity high heels that give bonus to movement speed, a fedora that increases charm, a feather scarf that controls the wind and a nipple ring to bring it all together. That's what the story is and it's what the people need.
- TheCrimsonFckerRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5As of chapter 13 this is a good read so far. A few nice variants on your standard system apocalypse, a dash of mystery, and creatures both fodder and "OMG run for the hills!" make for a good mix. The author has decent writing skills (although it could use a liittle more editing here and there for wrong words) and good creativity. Let's see where they take us!
- MaastRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Love the tie in to the Apocalypse Cultivation books. Hope he can meet Jake one day - though I imagine that'll take a few more books before he'll be able to survive in Jakes world for more than 3 minutes.
The AC books are your best work yet and I hope to see many more novels in them.
