In all honesty I really enjoy this novel the authors writing style is that of an armature but don't let that discourage you he is improving to that of a pro (at least I think so)  it's a novel with tons of potential I feel like he pulls us into the story and makes us feel like we're in the story our selves and the characters have mysterious back stories and we're getting to know more bout their histories throughout the story soo like i said I highly recommend reading this novel

And at the beginning I was confused,
    How old is the MC?
I can not imagine how the figure of the character if their age is not known.
(Or Maybe I just do not see that?)
And I can say that the story is getting better.
    Thank you

I can tell the author has a vision, but doesn't have the practice to pull it off just yet. A spell checker or a a friend proof-reading the story would go a long way. I have been a little harsh, in the comment section, but I hope the author keeps writing, as the chapter quality is steadily improving.
EDIT: Since my initial review, much has changed. The author has gone back and fixed a lot of mistakes in the early chapters, and there have been quite a few new ones as well.
I feel like the main story doesn't really start until almost chapter 8. The first arc... is not my favorite. Let me explain.
    Spoiler: Spoilers (through chapter 8)
    1) Why would someone capable of hiding the one trait that labels them as "evil, untrustworthy demonspawn" forget the disguise when talking to a complete stranger? Why not say they're taboo, or claim to be a necromancer, or come up with some (any) excuse? I get that the author wanted to create and establish a romance between the two early on, but it kind of feels odd. There could have been an entire arc about the taboos of their relationship, or the time spent recovering. Maybe it's for the best the author got it out of the way as early as they did, but still.
    2) The way the MC ditches her at the first town doesn't sit right. I understand that he doesn't want to owe her anything, but it comes out of nowhere and there were so many other ways he could have said/done it. It also seems odd that he would ditch her when he did and not try sooner. Maybe I'm just underestimating the power of calling a girl "pretty" for the first time, but I'm, fairly certain she wouldn't have continued to help him from the shadows.
The plot of, "Boy meets Girl; Boy and Girl fall in love; Lovebirds get split up; Girl helps Boy from the shadows," is a good. It's the execution that bugs me. Imagine chapter 7 as a prologue. Suddenly we'd have a mystery. When they finally meet again, flashback to the day Girl saves Boy, (chapter 4) and everything falls into place.

A typical wuxia story with slow pacing.
The story is not interesting and forgettable. It is just a typical wuxia story in which the MC will never be truly harmed because of non-subtle plot armor.
The charater acted too unbelievable, especially the MC and the villain
    Spoiler: Spoiler
The mc action drastically changed from ' I dont care that my race will hate me if I become your lifelong friend' to 'I dont want to know you anymore coz our lifespan is too different' in the next chapter. Wtf?
The villain behaves like a moron that cant control his lust. Nothing more than that

The story is fun. The characters are interesting, at first. But then the author does these jumps in their relationships. The dude goes from not knowing if he likes this beautiful woman to being fully in love in a chapter. These are not long chapters. In short the author rushes and makes the story feel like it was written by a 12 year old virgin.
On the upside the story was a great idea. Even if there are plenty that are close to what it is. If you like this but want something better read Penance.
