Ezreal is a nobody - a worker bee for a system that serves only itself and those at the top, in a world destroyed by mankind's greed and envy. The only thing that sets him apart, unknowingly to others, is his access to the underbelly of the global internet that has long since lost its true meaning. Regulation is everything and equality is afforded to everyone, but those with privileges are born into it, not made to gain it.

On one fateful day, Ezreal changes the entire course of his life. In his world, mankind's contracts are made by digital ink and signed. In another, contracts are made by blood.

But what happens if the contracted is an imposter?
