Very good story, very well told and full of twists. Excited for the next chapters! It reminds me of old star wars movies, which are wonderful and make us imagine a universe beyond comprehension! The characters are very well-crafted and charismatic too, and having an organization of events and a suspense that made me curious to know what will happen in the future.

This is a fantastic world that is being created. I can't wait to read more. The simple yet complex characters is in the vein of Game of Thrones yet with a more fantasy base emphasis. I really hope this writer takes off because this was fun to get into. I prefer this fantasy universe that combines old elements with futuristic allegory. It is grand combination that i still don't think has been perfected yet. Star Wars is obviously the greatest example of this category.
The mature content helps give this category a needed fantasy boost as well.
I'm looking forward to hearing if he has a glossary to give a little more detail on the origing and backstory of the races he is creating. To give more of an in depth look at what the liken to and what their progression is. Despite not having that the immediate detail that he gives currently lets you know their is a litany of race and characters to develop that all seem completely intriguing.
Bottom line this is the universe that has a lot of promise to get lost and mezmerized in. I hope more people follow and give the writer and artist time to take off on this. Great job and good luck in the future. My personal take is that an audio book could go a long way too. To help captivate and grasp the voice styles of the universe that has been created.

I'm definately reminded of things like 40k or EYE Devine in this, if only for being roman(isk) in space. There sadly arent enough stuff that involves Roman in space as a theme.
The differences are where it shines though. There is distinct conflicts here, where there is no instant wins. Where even the elite struggle with normal conflicts that ramp up. I like that they are badass, and not invicible.
The characters have such personalities that I can't wait to see how they engage with each other in their home. The world building especially will be nice, as because they have a standard exclusive to them, they wont be a single organization but have factions. Not to mention we will hopefully see somewhat of how they function outside of an operation.
I am glad I stumbled accross this and look forward to future chapters.

While reading this story there was a kind of persistant familarity with this type of story-telling, that I could not put my finger on. The quirky and offbeat dialogue the outlandish characters and the emphasis on aspects of life that are glossed over by other stories in this same genre.
Then it finally dawned upon me the story telling and dialogue is very similar to Wes Anderson movies. While there is still grimdark violence inherent in the work and I especially enjoyed the villans over the top monologuing which reminds me of antagonists from old feature films of the past. Maybe it is the authors way of writing but I couldn't help imagining each scene as a part of a movie or animated series.
The Scifi Roman motiff, with its special blend of spiritualism and magic feels like a fresh take while still being comfortably familar enough to intuitively enjoy while not requiring a great deal of effort to understand what is going on.
This first entry by the author could still use a editors polish and shine, but beneath the layer literary schmutz is something very beautiful and unique that happens to scratch all the various reading itches that I have.
Hopefully this new world gets expanded upon and improved in future chapters because the potential is there!

As a grimdark aficionado the combination of humor with the tropes of the grimdark subgenre make this one to watch! This spiral of light really has a running start and makes it hard to wait every week for the next installment. Can't wait to delve into an advanced review once we see this tale evolve. Oh Maja indeed!

Very immersive! I felt like I was on Maja herself! I felt Kassus' pain not being able to galavant about the jungles searching for groose! I very much relate to having to hunt hybrids in the sewers as opposed to being able to walk amongst nature. I loved when Kassus calmly dealt with the thugs who were harassing him, by leaving them paralyzed amongst others they had wronged horribly, what a delicious soup of revenge!

Take note I don't read prologues, so take it I read the first chapter.
This tale jumps right into the story, no slow builds or OP MC's just two craftsmen about their job.
You can practically smell the people crowded into the story, hear the noise.
The shape of the story builds as you experience the world of the characters, the dialogue building the world and colouring in all the gaps with nuance.
The supporting characters are people not cut outs, so you care what happens, the main characters care so you do to.
I do not think there has been a chapter in which the larger world has not been touched on and expanded by the action or dialogue in seemingly casual ways.
Even when there are info dumps they are conversational and relevant to the characters making them more engaging.
Read this story if you enjoy writing, it is not flawless but is very beautiful.
