Spider-Man: Godspeed [Complete]

Description
Eren Parker found himself tangled within the webs of fate after he was bitten by a spider, giving him powers far beyond that of any man. Not only was he given the abilities of a spider, but the ability to conjure electricity as well, using it to enhance his attacks and speed. Tragedy upon tragedy seems to follow the hero at every turn and he finds himself struggling to stay on the path of being what he deems as a true hero. However, his best friends, Harry Osborn and Cindy Moon, keep him on the right track as he tries to save the world, one step at a time.
Readers can expect a darker Spider-Man story. However, it's not dark in the sense that the MC goes around mindlessly killing people because he's an edge lord and a badass. It's dark in the sense that it focuses on Eren's traumas. He's an incredibly volatile and vulnerable person who finds himself in this limbo of wanting to grow closer to the ones he loves while also fearing that his closeness is what results in the people he loves getting hurt. This isn't power fantasy. This is barely a fanfiction. It's mostly an original story told in my own version of a Marvel universe. It's not about seeing Spider-Man do cool stuff and pick up Thor's hammer to beat Goku or whatever slop you'll often see in other fanfictions (No offense). This story is about Eren Parker. This book is actually here to tell a story, one with powerful themes that will likely tug at the emotional strings of those who read it. Those who've read it on other platforms would say this story is somewhat of an emotional rollercoaster, filled with twists and turns that all lead to a satisfying conclusion.
As the author, I also did not hold back on the graphic nature of certain scenes. In doing so, you can truly understand just how much these horrific events shape Eren Parker into the man he becomes at the end of the story. In some places, it's almost as if this is a horror story. Many of the sequences are akin to something found in a psychological thriller or slasher novel. These sequences are actually some of my favorites and many agree with that sentiment.
The story itself is also aslow burn.Notice the underlined word here.Slow burn. This doesn't mean the story is boring until a certain point, far from it. It means you are given puzzle pieces throughout the story that will not create a complete image until later in the story. Eren's origins might seem similar to Peter's, but Eren isn't Peter Parker at all despite sharing the same last name. There are 126 chapters, maybe more if I decided to add to the ending arc, so there's a lot to get through before the stage is truly set. Trust me, it's worth it.
This is something I worked on a long time ago, it's already finished so criticisms about aspects of the story will not be taken into account since the story is already done. I might add one or two chapters toward the end because I feel like that arc wasn't long enough but that's all. I just thought I'd share it here.
Even if the story isn't fully uploaded at the time of your viewing, just know it's completed and will eventually be uploaded in full. You will see the end.

- Iluvreading50Royal Road★★★★ 4.0The Story was good. Few stuff really bothered me but that's just me knowing Marvel and Dc comics. The one thing that really bothered me was it ended to soon. To me it just feels like half the story but as I said before it could just be me that feels this way. Overall the story structure was good, character build up was good also. IF this author decides to create another story that involves the Marvel or Dc characters again then I would read it.
Thanks to the Author for sharing this story with everyone. - visigothRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0I can completely accept fanfics that put a new spin on an original theme but honestly everything here feels flat.
A huge pet peeve of mine is when someone suddenly gets powers and somehow arent losing their minds over their luck, it almost feels like he would have had more of a reaction if he found 5 bucks on the street.
There little to no nuance in the story in the few chapters that ive read. The mc full fills all the typical tropes of a peter parker type character without the depth you would expect, especially for a fanfic thats trying its best to hit all the stereotypical beats.
Honestly i feel that alot of this comes down to a mismatch between who the author is telling us the mc is and who hes showing us he is. The only advice i can give the author is to actually picture himself in the mcs shoes and try to imagine the emotional rollercoaster you would go through in that situation and then try to depict it in the mc.
