Hayden Faulkner is the current proprietor of Spellbinder's Book Shop, a store in slightly-before-modern times that creates spellbooks by hand. In his adventures as a book binder, he and his assistant Luna stumble upon a rogue necromancer that may be a threat to the city at large. With an ineffective police force and their own gumption, they decide it should fall upon them to find and stop this necromancer before tragedy strikes.
