Jonathan dreams of becoming a Speedmage Champion, but there is one significant hurdle: he lacks magical abilities. Forced to abandon his dream, he lived a monotonous existence for eighteen years, devoid of any concern for the future.
However, everything changes when he encounters Fluonessia, a clumsy and whimsical mage. She unwittingly pulls him into the world of Speed Battles, enlisting him as her coach!

- HeyHeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Overall:
This is anime in textform and it is just the best parts from animes. So, even if you don't really like animes, I would still recommend reading it.
Style:
Like I said, the style is anime in textform. But to clarify a bit more, it is more than just translating what would happen in anime, since that would not work completely (different medium afterall). Instead it adapts and overcomes this hurdle.
Also every single Speedmage match was so much fun to read. I don't have a single one I dislike. The mages are all a unique flavour of OP and it is glorious. And I mean every single mage here is a Demi-God, from just teleporting around the arena (in a speed competition) to time freezes.
The writing style just works with it, so well. It is Anime bs in its purest and most fun form.
Story:
The story has a simple sports anime story line mixed with a rom com. It doesn't need more. It is lighthearted fun the entire way through, never teasing obvious things for too long etc..
Grammar:
I have not seen a single spelling mistake. The reason why its 4.5 is, because some sentences are a bit jumbled (and once the author wrote she instead of he). But it was at most like 3 mistakes total I even noticed...
Character:
I feel like the cast was a bit too big for the length of the book. I really liked every single one, so it was a bit sad, not to see everyone get more screen/wordtime.
So in Conclusion, if you want some light hearted fun with some banger jokes, read this.
PS.:
I couldnt Italizize the Review title otherwise it would have been A classy Review - Quinn VoidheartRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It's an unusual dynamic that I haven't read on RR before, which is great. Sure, characters have had mentors, but I haven't seen it as the focus. The magic system is good, I haven't seen any real hand-waving. The world-building makes sense and is consistently good. There haven't been any noticeable grammar issues that cause me to lose focus and the reading levels is easy so it a breeze to go through.
