Description

Hope Lauren has read her share of comics. She’s seen supers around her city and even been saved by some on occasion. And she always hoped that she’d be able to join them.

With Jack, her grizzled older mentor with secrets that could shake the world, and Pantheon, a new team of heroes, Hope will have to fight against monumental odds to save Oleander City.

In a world of action, comedy, tragedy, and adventure, there’s plenty for a new hero to do.

*Readers can expect a mostly adventure-themed superhero journey that will include a slice of life, action, and hopefully exciting world-building. It will also contain a slow-burning GL/Yuri plotline, which I'll eventually get to when I feel like it, I guess. This will be a very long story with many arcs*

As soon as you crack open this story, whether it is the flow of the prose or the dedication to the world, you can tell that the author loves this story. If you are on the lookout for some fantasy with some more comfy tropes, then you will enjoy this piece. Highly recommend!
Style: It is hard to critique style on this cite, but I would have to say that I enjoy the writer's dedication to utilizing simple constructions in their writing. It both helps to elevate the description, while not making the pacing suffer.
Grammar: There isn't anything that I can really deduct here. Throughout the reading I didn't have any instances where the structure, prose, or word choice caused me to stumble. I believe that we can see the author's talent in writing shine through. There was a point where the author began to replace quotes for speech with hyphens, which I did find a bit strange.
Story: At first I thought that this was a classic fantasy story, but the more I read the more the differences became apparent. I am certain that this story is going to go places.
Character: If I have to be honest, and I plan to be, I didn't get into this story too powerfully early on. That quickly changed and he began to grow on me faster than I might expect. It is still early days where I am at, but I think I can trust this writer to deliver strong characters.

I found it to be a pretty engaging superhero story that appeals to fans of the genre. Speaking from someone who has read and watched their fair share of the superhero genre, (mostly from comics and cartoons) I say this is a pretty good read as far as I read.
Style: Direct, goes for a more casual approach, there's no over-explaining or unnecessary use of prose to everything, it's straightforward and pretty clear about what's going on with the characters, world, and everything else in the story.
Grammar: No grammar errors here as far as I could find, then again, English isn't my first language, so do take my opinion on this subject with a grain of salt. Although I can definitely say its perfectly readable.
Characters: I found Hope to be an engaging main character I want to see how she grows and develops. Hopefully, pun intended, her character development will be handled well in future chapters of the story.
Story:As set-ups go for a super hero story, I say this one of the good ones. The superpowers presented seem strong and the plot is intriguing enough that you want to see where it will lead to.
So overall, solid read for superhero fans who want a fresh enough take on the genre.

This is an entertaining superhero story that should appeal to fans of the genre. Although I haven't read a huge amount of superhero stories, I enjoy them and think this one has lots of potential.
Style: The style of this story is casual and pretty direct, there's no purple prose or over description of things really, it's straightforward and pretty clear about what's going on.
Grammar: I think I noticed a couple typos, but nothing that really distracted me from the story at all, so I didn't have any problems with the grammar, it reads like normal to me!
Characters: Hope seems like a cool main character who I look forward to following as she grows. I'm not sure what the future holds for her but I think she will continue to develop strengths and hopefully become part of a meaningful community.
Story: I am not very familiar with superhero stories in general, but so far this seems like a good set-up for lots of interesting events to take place. The super powers mentioned seem strong and though I can't really guess where the plot is going to go, it should be interesting.
Overall a promising start up to where I've read!

I've read about fortish chapters and so far I have to say that I really enjoy this story so far and think I can give a review maybe I dunno I made my account for Super Supportive first so I'm still new to this but I love hero stories.
Great hero story, highly recommend. Much more content than expected at a glance. Character development, world building, style and grammar are all on point.
I enjoy a lot of the characters though I will say that at times I do feel the mc is a bit off. The story is really good and feels like something like Worm but the main character acts like Deku sometimes and it kind of clashes. I still like her a ton but it does bother me at times. The world building is fun and I like the style the action a lot. I normally don't like yuri but the romance hasn't bothered me much. I will say grammar is hit or miss. They had an editor I saw in the comment section and that person really sucks at their job.
I really like it. It's goofy and fun and I can't wait to see more. Still super early on so my review will probably change as it goes on and gets bigger. For now I like it though. I want more fire force powers so hope we get more from Hope.
Only criticism I have is also a compliment, the story is fully fleshed out. Time passing is explored in depth, but without becoming tedious to read through. Fell like I should go more in depth her but I'm exhausted after binging for the past couple days, good night!
This story is a good book and it has a lot of potential for it I like the character development and little hinge for the future

    Overall:
It's pretty entertaining, you can see the influence from other fiction like worm, superman, etc. but the story manages to remain distinct with it's own unique take/spin on things.
    Style:
The tone is darker than the most upbeat hopeful cape fiction, but I would still put it as more upbeat/hopeful than not.
The fight scenes are well written, with interesting powers displayed so far. The dialogue feels pretty natural to me.
    Story:
I'm only ~13 chapters in, but the story writing is pretty good. There are several interesting threads that have been brought up that I look forward to the story exploring. (The construction worker's identity, Hope's origins, What's up with the new kid, etc.)
    Grammar:
I haven't notice any major issues with the grammar / technical writing side of things.
    Character:
Hope is a pretty good character. She feels distinct and real, you can feel her connection to her family and friends, etc. The rest of the character also are fairly intriguing, though of course I'm only a few chapters in so there hasn't been time to deeply explore characterization.
    ---
I recommend checking out the story!

Update from chapter 12 to chapter 111:
The story keeps getting better and better. I highly recommend checking it out!

Am I only saying that because it's a superhero story? Maybe. Probably. Still, it gives that same kinda "discovering you have powers in a gritty world" vibe that it has but is presented in a different way.
Like I was eluding to, this story feels like an upbeat Worm. To get into some more detail, I'd say that this story feels like Worm except it was written to be campy in a very MCU kinda way. I'd say it works well, though, and doesn't overstay its welcome.
The story has the traditional start that you'd expect from a hero story. If you know absolutely anything about Superman's origin -- or Goku's -- then you know about the MC's origin as well. It follows that same standard tragectory up to the sixth chapter I stopped at for this review swap. While it plays many tropes straight, the world that all of this is happening within goes against the traditional/campy aspect of the story to create an interesting dichotomy. It makes reading along quite fun.
For an author who said that English is their second language, this story is written phenomenally well. There aren't any grammatical errors that I noticed, though I'd say sentence structure was slightly stilted in places.
See above. The MC and her group are all what you'd expect, but again that doesn't take away from the story at all. They're a fun group to follow.
Overall, if you're looking to read a relaxed superhero story this may be the one for you!

I guess this is a good story but I will have some complaints about it. The first thing is it is long. Like holy cow some of these chapters are just big. Like I like RR because I can binge a bunch of stories quickly, and I guess if you were a fast reader you can do that, but like some chapters are just to big. Chapter 33 for example. I was currious and put it in a word count and the thing was like 8k something. That's like 4 normal sized chapters. Now it also wouldn't be that big of a deal yet somehow the plot is kind of slow at times. If you're going to throw a 4k-6k chapter at me I expect a lot of stuff to happen yet most of it is setting stuff up for later.
Now while that does sound bad I do like a lot of things with this story. Namely the characters. The main girl is sort of neat though what takes the cake are the side characters. i've never felt myself closer to a character then Jack Larison. A 9 to 5 worker that barely cleans up and is down on money. Um yeah. That actually does become a bit of an issue though. Hope is the main character yet I don't really care for her to much. She grew on me so I can't say I hate her but there are a bunch of characters, like a shocking amount, and of all the named ones given scenes in the main cast the mc comes off more as just there.
That leads me to the world. It's big. And honestly I don't have a lot to complain about here. It takes place mainly in a city and things are built up over the chapter being hinted at or implied. Almost everything is given an explanation eventually and there is a ton of things foreshadowed or brought up. A lot of it has to do with a bunch of stuff that happened in the past which is kind of annoying as we're being told about all this cool stuff rather then seeing it, but when you do get to see it it's pretty cool.
The fight scenes are also really good I think. They are wild and sort of all over the place but I really like them. They do have a bit of an issue at places and there are parts that I thin

Spectacular World is an interesting choice to take a comic-style world and reshape it into a written story.
So far, I've enjoyed the journey of Hope (the MC) and the parts I've seen of the supporting characters' backstories (such as Myth, whose backstory is complex and surprisingly nuanced). Every notable character has in-depth backstories, and a wide variety of powers can be seen throughout.
Overall, I'd give it 5 stars, the story is fun and worth reading.

Okay so this has this very strong grammar and I'm not going to fault it on any of that. So for this fiction I'm going to say it's a five out of five. The bottom line is that this is a superhero thick. Now I'm going to be up front here. Superhero fics are not my favorite, so I'm reading this as a review swap.
I also did not read the blurb just to get it fresh. But from what I read, you guys got a very strong voice and it's got some really well established character and I can already see some setups for some future plots going on. So in essence, the main character was saved from the sea and became the adopted child after being born out of something in the first chapter.
As a sidebar, I would probably skip the first chapter and go straight to chapter two or three if I was the author, but that's just a professional preference.
As a reader, I would prefer to see those chapters. So little bit of distinction there.
Story wise is a 5 out of five. This is a great story. It's very takes a second to get there but it's once it gets there. It's spot on. Character wise. It's also a 5 out of five. The only thing I'm really digging it for is that I would would have the story start later in the story.

This story is a hidden gem from what I have read so far, a slow start but one that is competent in setting the scene this story is shaping up to be a great superhero origin story. Can't wait to read more this is set up for a slow burn but with over 4k pages at least nobody will have to wait to read week to week! Teenage girl superhero with generic powers (so far :) hope this changes soon).
Style: Easy to read and digest with good descriptions of characters and actions. Dialogue works though not outstanding so far each character has a fairly unique voice with only some same-iness characters so far.
Grammar: No issues found at all, seems like a native speaker / writer and both prose and scene descriptions are on point.
Story: Great set up though slow (into chapter you could almost skip) the only real complaints I have so far is how "small" the world feels with 2 mentions as well as meetings of the worldwide best superhero's so early on... Seems crazy that our MC would meet two of them so quick back to back when they are meant to operate world wide it seems.  The other thing that sticks out is Bullies being generic bullies some of which are boys seemingly ok with beating up a teenage girl, just doesn't seem believable (a shove sure but a full on punch... not something I have every really seen). Still everything else seems well built, believable but different enough from our real world in ways that makes sense and the plot is paced appropriately with interesting mini arcs that reach satisfying conclusions.
Character: The powers of the MC not being over the top so far and her actions and the overall plot feeling well paced with no really out of character actions. She acts like a teenage girl should but not an annoying one, the only sticking point has been some repetitive dialogue (people should help each other to make the world a better place speech used a couple of time already) but there is a lot of room for growth with some already shown so early on.
