Description

Placed on the northern hemisphere the Sea of Ember is a world of ice and stone, a land of fire and storms.Uncanny tempests sweep across the rocky terrain, rising and spreading ashes from dozens of active volcanoes disseminated everywhere in the continent. However, during winter, sudden snowstorms, almost as lethal as the rivers of magma scorching this plagued realm, turn the land into a literal hell. That's when Lithoniel's journey begins, during the last weeks of Spring. It should have been a hunting expedition, a short trip not far from the tribe's territory.Yet, when the Nightstalker, the tribe's chief hunter, decides to bring them in an unexplored area of the Asp ridge, Lithoniel has to decide if she can be something different from the outcast she had been for all her life. But can a fledgling hunter, an outsider in her own tribe be a leader?

Warning: The grimdark tag is there for a reason. This is a dark tale and the author is a sadist. (which inevitably means that the characters are masochists. Well, it's not like they have a choice.)

I mostly agree with the person who reviewed this story before me, but my conclusion is different. The story is bleak and dark, really dark, but so far I'm really enjoying it. The characters are realistic for a change and suited to the world the author is building, some kind of hell where everyone must fight for survival. The Mc is not overpowered. She is capable but she can be manipulated, brave and strong but somewhat weak. The writing style is impressive and so far I didn't find any problem with the grammar.
Overall: A great story but it's not for everyone.

I like it! No grammar errors, at least none that I saw, and the writing style is pretty good too. The story got me pretty hooked, and I can't wait for it to continue! All in all, I can't wait to continue to read it and hope it gets more attention drawn to it because for the start, it's pretty good!

The writing style and grammar are great. However, from the very first moment of this story everything feels bleak, hopeless, and inevitable. There's nothing positive to latch on to. I guess we're supposed to like Lith because she's an outcast even though she's capable but that really isn't enough to justify any investment for how miserable this story is.
At least at this point in the story (ch15) no one has been raped yet, but the way this story has progressed it seems it's only a matter of time. I don't know what type of readers would enjoy this.
