Soul Magician at The Apocalypse
Community Rating
Description
Graduating from college, Ramie was prepared to step into the cruel arena of life, to struggle for living, like the rest do. He expected that finding job, paying bills, and making out rent in time were about to become his biggest concerns. However, little did he knew... that a catastrophic event was on the verge of descending on this world, and changing things in a disastrous way that no one could have anticipated it.He did not know that his main worry was going to shift form finding a job... to surviving beasts attacks!
This is the story of an average man, rising to become the strongest soul magician in a turbulent apocalyptic era....note: English language is not my native language. so, be gentle. Also, the first few chapters are not my best work, and they do not reflect the level of the story....3-5 Chapters per week.

- kasun12345Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I also have to admit. The story is readable. And unless you're a English teacher you can enjoy the story. I am more of a life warrior fan than magician char. Because warriors seems to have it rough but are most of humanity's fighting force. But the story is well written and if the story doesn't make the main character too op. It will become a gem.
Update
Love the story love the char. He keeps makkng mistakes that bite him. Which is realistic. Still by far tge best apocalypse story i ve read - p0lerbearRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0As of the Ch6 1/17/2019
Ignore those people who wrote that the author has bad grammar. Athe time of this post. I found that that author went back and edited his previous chapters making them more readble and enjoyable. Either that OR these people are hardcore Teachers that majored in english.
Now onto the apocalypse. Thank god the char is not some damn justice hero or is he some psychopath. Instead he is a regular teenager, who has never seen a massacre, much less murder. The MC attempts to deny what is currently happeneing but as he witnesses more of the monsters attack he has to accept this 'hell' that he is now living in.
Story is nice and slow. I hope it isnt too slow though
The character score is 3 because of his 'job' and that i dont like soul mages, so im just biased here ^_^ - Juli FreixiRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Si eso puede tener un comienzo lento, pero a medida que avanza la historia, ¡se vuelve muy interesante!!
- Worst-answerRoyal Road★★★ 3.0for fuck sake , it's slow asf , at the chapter 4 still the denial crap. FOR FUCK SAKE, A BOOK IS SUPPOSED TO CAPTURE YOU FROM THE BEGINNING, IT'S NOT NORMAL THAT I HAVE TO PUSH MYSELF TO GET OVER A CRAP LOAD OF SHITTY CHAP.
- ContradictionRoyal Road★★ 2.0An apocalypse story with game mechanics. Plenty of grammar errors/typos but still readable, much better than a mtl. Biggest complaint is the authors bad habit of describing actions.
For example, in chapter 14 a guy gets punched in the face. The author then writes about 9 paragraphs describing why the man who got punched in the face was knocked to the ground on the verge of death. I don't need 9 paragraphs of B.S. to tell me the puncher hits really hard. It's like reading a crappy xuanhuan where the author has an intense fight scene to interrupt it with "even though this took a while to describe, it actually happened in less than a second". Its jarring, cringeworthy, and should be cut out of the story. And there are many incidents like it in this story. That being said, I still plan to finish this because I secretly like these stories.
Only read if all the "good" stories have been read already. Avoid if you hate typos and are used to reading "quality" stories - aaron1986Royal Road★★ 1.5Okay I’ll start with a thank you for writing a story on here for people, me included, to read for free.
Now unfortunately it shows that English isn’t you main language. The story is just too hard to read so had to drop at chapter 6.
