A great story so far. I like the MC, he isn't whiny or annoying and seems very human. There's a lot of small details that make it clear a lot of effort was put into this. I'm looking forward to seeing more about the side characters, and I hope to see Cole again.
STYLE: funny but not in a forced way, and action scenes are fast and engaging. The slower scenes still manage to keep my attention because there's always something fun to grab my attention.
GRAMMAR. Pretty good. There's a few minor slip ups here and there, but it's so minor it's barely worth mentioning. It's likely you won't even notice as you're reading.
STORY. It can be hard to say so early on, but it's engaging so far. There's already several different threads I look forward to following and seeing them play out.
CHARACTERS. I love the characters. I think Ethan is a great MC, and I enjoy the side characters as well. I really hope to see more Cole and Tila especially.
Overall, a fun story so far. I’m a huge fan of mystery and detective novels and I’m curious to see what other cases the MC will have to solve.

Pretty good so far. The story has just started so I can't say too much, but rn it seems fun. I like the MC and I like the detective angle. Lysandra also seems like she'll be a fun character.
