This is the kind of joke that is difficult to navigate because the subject matter of World War II and the exact point of 'Sophie's Choice' is literal life and death. The piece stops from being rather ghoulish by playing it up. The answer she gives is shocking and the whole piece is shocking. There is not much here, but this work is stepping over landmines. It is edgy. I'll give it that.
