Description
A retired militaryman was relaxing in the shade of pinetrees, minding his own business after a succesful summer camp, just to be dragged into a world he doesn't understand and has no-one to guide him except for the small lizard-like being that came out of the bushes followed by murderous felines.
What will he do now? Will he find his place in this foregin world with no sign of humans at all?

- auredRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is a fantastic story. The characters are interesting and engaging. The background lore is shared at a good pace, leaving me intrigued and wanting to know more at the end of each chapter. Pretty much every major event is presented from two or more different perspectives - this is a particularly useful plot device considering the human isn't able to communicate directly with his companions for the first 30+ chapters.
