Of two things Sindre Lune is absolutely certain: that the Goddesses of Old, forgotten by the world at large, will reawaken; and that every member of the Atsan Clan should be put to death.  He believes in each of these tenets with equal fervor.  Just when he's started to grow bored of his current life, he's hired for a job that might allow him to put that fervor into action, to bring those tenets into reality.

Along the way, he meets his new crew—Baz, a human mage blessed by a goddess, Delia, a fiercely loyal tiefling thief, and Estri, a member of the very clan he'd sworn to kill on sight—and is forced to reevaluate his own foundational beliefs.

What to expect: depictions of magic and violence in a high fantasy world, found family, LGBT+ themes (though that's not the point of the story), treasure hunting.
